I continue to believe these Marines are going to go free eventually. If it takes General Mattis to drop sentences are reduce them to some minor level, I believe he is to much a Marine not to know what the heck is going on. After all, he told them all three years back to GETSOME and be proud of it.
Being in country he knows how things play out in those type actions. He probably would have if leading the patrol have ordered a F18 to drop a 1000lb on the house then asked questions later.

I want a ringside seat to this fight. Hell, they've got me duct taped to the chair here so I can't go to Iraq ; )

Just got the following robotic e-mail from NPR (I don't listen to any of their shows or support them in any way!). Hope my e-mail was actually forwarded and that they might explain this. In any event, the saga continues. My original e-mail follows their reply.

On Morning Edition, November 21, 2006, you quoted anonymous DOD sources that five Marines were about to be charged: Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, Corporal Hector Salinas, Corporal Sanick Dela Cruz, Lance Corporal Stephen Tatum, and Lance Corporal Justin Sharratt.

Corporal Hector Salinas, however, was not charged. Any explanation for this false leak and reporting?
