Just got the following robotic e-mail from NPR (I don't listen to any of their shows or support them in any way!). Hope my e-mail was actually forwarded and that they might explain this. In any event, the saga continues. My original e-mail follows their reply.

On Morning Edition, November 21, 2006, you quoted anonymous DOD sources that five Marines were about to be charged: Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, Corporal Hector Salinas, Corporal Sanick Dela Cruz, Lance Corporal Stephen Tatum, and Lance Corporal Justin Sharratt.

Corporal Hector Salinas, however, was not charged. Any explanation for this false leak and reporting?
