Trump to make future not so Rosy for O’Donnell
Boston Herald ^ | 21 Dec 2006 | None

No one messes with Donald Trump and gets away with it - not even daytime TV big mouth Rosie O’Donnell!

Calling “The View” co-host “a woman out of control,” the Donald vowed to sue her over statements she made about him during yesterday’s chat-est, according to People.

As one would suspect, the ABC talk show’s topic of conversation turned to the Miss USA pageant poohbah’s decision to give his drug- and booze-addled beauty queen Tara Conner a second chance at keeping her tarnished crown.

“(He) left the first wife - had an affair. (He) had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America,” O’Donnell spat. “Donald, sit and spin, my friend.”

But it wasn’t her remarks about Trump’s “moral compass” that angered the “Apprentice” chief. What really fired him up was Rosie’s blather about his well-chronicled bankruptcy, her contention that he wasn’t a self-made man and her comparison of The Donald to “the snake-oil salesman on “Little House On The Prairie.”

Trump said the statements were “false” and that Rosie will “rue the words” she used.

“I’ll most likely sue her for making those false statements - and it’ll be fun. Rosie’s a loser. A real loser. I look forward to taking lots of money from my nice fat little Rosie.”

Oooh. Them’s fightin’ words!

But Ro already knew her words were going to get Trump’s goat. After she expressed her vitriolic View on The Donald, she said: “Here comes the lawsuit. Get ready. This is going to be good.”

A 'cat fight' between The Donald and Rosie? I believe I also heard a statement from Trump where he said 'Rosie is disgusting on the inside and the outside'!

This has all the trappings of a cynical public relations stunt for both of them. It's just too pat, in my opinion.

Yeah, this has all the drama and dignity of a WWE live cage match, doesn't it?

Rosy has reached the point in her career where she can only get attention by behaving badly. This has a tendency to occur with flash-in-the-pan celebrities, and it's never a pretty sight...

I think most people watching the View now do so to see what kind of stupid remarks Rosie will make.

She seldom dissappoints.

"The View" should move to comedy central.

They could raise money for charity by having a steel cage match between Trump's hair and Rosie's mouth.

Like it or not, portly Rosie and her big mouth are a money maker for The TV station. (I think it's ABC) I believe more people are tuning in to see what outrageous comment the Ol' Bull will say next. Just look at the popularity of Jerry Springer fer cryin' out loud. Speaks volumes about the American public.

Rosie makes fun of everyone. I knew her comments yesterday were going to open the flame. She does it for ratings yet she dogged Donald for doing the same thing with the Miss USA events of the past week. Kettle Meet POT!

lol. My first response was yours, as posted. Rosie, one would think, might have learned the old adage: People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Certainly not in response to what Mr. Trump was saying.

Rosie would have been better off, IMHO, just proferring more of the jam she usually delivers, and have uttered her own "pronouncement upon Miss USA: " Don't worry, honey, it's not your fault -- It's BUSH'S FAULT".

giggling.

I saw him say that on Fox News this morning. "As ugly as she is on the outside, she's even more ugly on the inside." Munch, munch, munch (popcorn).

I'm glad someone finally said it and that the media is paying attention, for whatever reason.

Barbara Walters used to be a serious newswoman, now she sits next to Rosie every day. How sad for her.

This is just like the Iran-Iraq War.

Let these two annoying people have their slap fight. Who really cares.

The Donald went on a terrific rant. Someone finally put Rosie O'Barrel in her place.

Trump said she was "a loser" and "an animal". He pitied her partner Kelly for "having to kiss that face every night". He implied that Rosie would like to have a go at Tara Whatshername.

It sounded like a FReeper Rosie Thread.
