Inspector General Says Former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger Hid Classified Docs
FNC ^ | December 21, 2006

WASHINGTON — President Clinton's national security adviser removed classified documents from the National Archives, hid them under a construction trailer and later tried to find the trash collector to retrieve them, the agency's internal watchdog said Wednesday.

The report was issued more than a year after Sandy Berger pleaded guilty and received a criminal sentence for removing the documents.

Berger took the documents in the fall of 2003 while working to prepare himself and Clinton administration witnesses for testimony to the Sept. 11 commission. Berger was authorized as the Clinton administration's representative to make sure the commission got the correct classified materials.

Berger's lawyer, Lanny Breuer, said in a statement that the contents of all the documents exist today and were made available to the commission.

But Rep. Tom Davis, R-Va., outgoing chairman of the House Government Reform Committee, said he's not convinced that the Archives can account for all the documents taken by Berger. Davis said working papers of National Security Council staff members are not inventoried by the Archives.

I read this book when it came out; I hadn't heard of GW or Jeb Bush; book revealed the fix was in for Clinton and the Bush sons because they were COMPROMISED by damaging information relating to cocaine. They could be manipulated.

The book and author were ridiculed and lambasted by EVERYONE on both sides of the aisle...I shrugged and watched events evolve as anticipated by Terry Reed's book.

I continue to highly recommend Compromised.

Covering up knowledge of pre 911 events.

Stealing the property of the Citizens of The United States of America

Manipulating a Congressional investigation by hiding evidence

Changing the Historical content and accuracy of the United States of America.

Sheilding a former president and a current senator ( clintons) from the fall out of Deriliction of Duty......eventually resulting in the slaughter of 3000 people on one day.

The result of all of this ...a minor fine, 100 hours of holding hands and a return to service with security clearances intact in the next administration.

When will the people on whole wake up?

The Clintons may have had some sort of cocaine allegations on the Bushes, but I think it's all part of the good ole boy network. Politicians of both parties close circles and defend each other regardless of the charges. It's just bad taste to go against your former adversary when it comes to politics. Look at Bush Sr. and Clinton chumming around. What is going on with that? And look at these clowns in the Senate calling each other, "my illustrious colleague from the other side of the ailse". It's disgraceful. We are never going to see these Republicans fight because they are protecting their own little empire and don't want to upset the apple cart. That's waht a two party system gets us, corruption.

What's worse, he'll probably have his security clearance back in less than two years.

The first story was that he cut the documents up in small pieces and put them in a wastebasket in his home. Now we're told that he put the documents under a trailer. Whatever, we're told it doesn't matter since it was all inadvertant which meant that he got to plead guilty to a misdemeanor instead of being CHARGED WITH A FELONY, BEING CONVICTED AND SERVING TIME IN PRISON!

Berger should be in prison. I wonder if AG Gonzales made the decision to give him a freebie, or if his boss told him to let Berger off with a slap.

The burning question I have is how in the H-E-** does a security facility not have a disk containing the very same classified documents Sandy Bergler stuffed in his pants! Unfreakin' believable. Smell a rat here....

Which is why I'm convinced there is a "Mary Macarthy" (the demcorat CIA mole) in Justice.

The way the whole Valarie Plame issue was hinged on Justice really pursuing that 'leak' while the REAL ones (SWIFT / Secret Prisons, etc) are left without answers.

The pathetic, laughable 'punishment' Sandy Bergler got (combined with the almost non-reporting of it at the time) is just more proof IMO.

Wow, how timely and seasonal this story is! With Christmas just around the corner, Sandy's actions give new meaning to the term 'stocking stuffer'.

"worthy of being the long term prison bitch of someone named d'Shawn"

LOL.

I just can't imagine what the MSM would be doing if Bergermeister were a Republican in the Bush Administration. Wait, I can imagine...they'd be covering this story 24/7, splashing it on the front pages of every librul newspaper, making it the top story of every "news" broadcast...yup.
