Sinus headaches are the pits. I have chronic rhinitis, and if I get a headache, it's 70 percent likely due to sinus, I guess. And if you don't treat the sinus symptoms, the headaches don't leave, in my case, no matter how much aspirin or motrin I pop...Sudafed, disgustingly, is my friend...Mr. Keep Me In Twilight Sleep So I Get Sleep Deprivation. But it helps the headaches hugely.
I get back, and everybody leaves? That'll give me a complex!
Here I am !!!
I have been back and forth here...and the Haditha thread.
Until I started reading mystery novels about 10 years ago...historical novels were my passion.
I have to admit that a lot of what I know about the Middle East is from reading Leon Uris books...I have kept everyone of them...
I read them too, and I like them still!
I still remember Ben Gazara in QBVII...that was good.
Palestinian terror groups launch Qassam rocket from northern Gaza Thursday evening; rocket lands near school in Sderot. Three rockets fired at Israel Thursday morning, following seven rockets launched Wednesday

Palestinian terror groups launched a Qassam rocket from northern Gaza on Thursday afternoon. The rocket landed near a school in Sderot.
At the present no injuries or damage have been reported.
Three Qassam rockets were fired at Israel Thursday morning, following seven rockets launched Wednesday.
Two of the rockets fired Thursday landed in Palestinian territory, and one landed in Israel.
The Sderot Municipality reported that the Color Red alert system identified the launching of a rocket at the western Negev at about 6:20 a.m.
Wednesday saw a record number of Qassam rockets launched in one day during the ceasefire which was declared last month. In total, seven rockets were fired on Wednesday and during the night, landing in the western Negev.
At least 40 rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip since the truce came into force.

You might like reading James Michenor's The Source...as usual, excellently researched historical fiction like all his books.
Every one of his books has a typical recipe in it, too. Kind of a neat piece of trivia.
Aw yes...I can picture him in that like I saw it today!!
Mila 18 was great, about the Jews in Warsaw during the war...
I have read a few of Michener's books...but boy does he describe everything, extensively!!!
Sometimes I have a hard time getting through the first part of his books...to the "action"...LOL
I shall join you, Knitting. And I bring a posting:
Cleric agrees to end boycott of Iraqi government
MSNBC ^ | 12/21/2006 | AP
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Muqtada al-Sadr has agreed to allow his supporters to rejoin the Iraqi government and end a three-week boycott protesting the prime ministers meeting with President Bush, officials close to the radical Shiite cleric said Thursday.
Al-Sadrs loyalists walked out of their positions in parliament and the Cabinet after Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki met Bush in Jordan three weeks ago.
Shiites from the Iraqi parliaments largest bloc, the United Iraqi Alliance, met Thursday in the holy city of Najaf to try and persuade him to rejoin the political process and rein in his fighters, who are blamed for much of Iraqs sectarian violence.

Oh...yeah, I forgot.
When the war in Iraq started...I told my husband to read "The Haj" by Leon Uris.
I told him that it was a good read...but it would give him some idea of the "mindset" of the people in that area of the world...that has been passed down for centuries.
He hasn't read it...of course, I have never seen him ever read a BOOK!!!
I am glad the computer was invented...he likes to just sit at the computer and "learn stuff" is the way he puts it...LOL
And it is the first part of his books that I love. I guess he is writing for both of us :)
I was a teen when I read Mila 18...and was truly impressed.
I never DIDN'T read one because of that...but just like in the rest of my life...I get impatient...LOL
I take that back...I haven't finished Chesapeake..even though I started it years ago....but it was because of some reason I forget..
I need to go and read that one....and finish it this time.
All of this talk has got my historical novel love bubbling up again.
Palestinian sources say that a Hamas member was kidnapped and another man was critically wounded in exchanges of fire between gunmen in a residential neighborhood in Gaza city.
The gunbattle was apparently between Hamas loyalists and relatives of two Fatah members who were killed Tuesday. (Ali Waked)

I wish he would NOT rejoin the government...I would rather he be bombed to oblivion...and his supporters also.
Alert: This just in...Miss NEVADA has just been stripped of her title, due to racy internet photos...oy!
If you haven't seen the photos, avoid them. The woman is disgusting.
LOL...no, I haven't seen them, I just heard John Gibson interviewing Trump.
My goodness, I think Trump has been interviewed by every host on Fox today!
It gives them an excuse to run the Tara Connor in a bikini video.

Here are a list of the names of the Haditha Marines, and the charges for each one.
That pic of her in her bikini is disgusting, IMO.
