I wonder how much of her "anti-violence" work was a cover to reach out to the gangs and others who might help her network?

She's just trying to help the people and everyone wants to keep her down.

"It doesn't take away from her volunteerism and the fact that she has worked for the betterment of this community,” Urban League President and CEO Bill Clark said...

Uhhhhmmmm, yes it does.

Anderson's attorney says there are innocent explanations as to where his client got the money. He says they will come out later in court.

Translation: "We have no idea how we're going to defend this case. We're going to try and come up with something before the trial. Right now, we're leaning toward "She found the money in an abandoned freezer and Finders = Keepers".

We know that's weak, so we'll probably play the Race Card. We have already contacted the Black Panther Party and the Nation of Islam to provide us with security services."

"Anderson's attorney says there are innocent explanations as to where his client got the money."

Reminds me of Cheech and Chong’s Up In Smoke album where the defense lawyer says, "Your Honor. My client merely found the marijuana and was on his way to give it to the police when he was mistakenly apprehended.”

There may be a perfectly innocent explanation for the windfall. Most people can provide one. Its not that hard.
