The US and Israel are fiddling. When will we do must be done and move against Iran? Why isn't Israel taking out the Iranian nuke facilities? I'm mystified by the inaction.

Because unless Israel uses nukes they don't have the ability to make a meaningful strike on Iran.

Because most of the youth in Iran don't support their psycho president, his party or his beliefs. Ahmadineajd's support comes from the older more conservative crowd, much like Milosevic's in Yugoslavia before he and his government were overthrown. There may not be revolution anytime soon in Iran, but you may see a moderate, less threatening Tehran if this scumbag and the rest of his party are voted out of office. Step one were the local and regional elections this past weekend in which Ahmadineajd's party was trounced.

Should have been done last year or prior. Now the timing for a successful strike to our benefit is past. Especially since OPEC seems to have (within the last 4 days) permanently divested itself of all transactions in the US dollar. A military strike on Iran will absolutely affect the supply of oil from all muslim or communist (Venezuela) nations. Put Russian oil in that category, too. Our debt is already crushing and any disturbance to the status quo before global markets have an opportunity to prepare will be catastrophic to the rest of the world. Everybody else seems to see the coming calamity but us. That's because the msm wants it to happen and the administration can't divulge the danger without risking a panic...and an immediate implosion.

If Israel strikes it will mean all out war with all of the region involved. I suspect even Kuwait and Saudi Arabia would be involved overtly. Israel will have to respond with nukes. Are you familiar with the Biblical prophesy concerning Isiah 17? It's on the horizon. Syria is arming and positioning it's troops along it's border.

A multipronged invasion of Israel by all Arab states following an Israeli airstrike on the Iranian facilities is inevitable. I suspect that even Kuwait and Saudi Arabia would give overt and blatant support regardless of what we desire. There will be a simultaneous resurgence of the Intifada among the Palestinians and the Hamas/Hezbullah groups will move as well. Imagine the regions oil fields rendered untappable because they are irradiated! What happens to us at that point when we've allowed the RATs to stymie our efforts at drilling in Alaska and off our own coast and we're still dependent on arab oil? There is already a significant downward pressure on the value of the dollar. Put it altogether and the picture ain't pretty.

Inaction is right.

A year ago the headline was: "Iran Threatens Israel, Close to Nuclear Capabilities"

Today the headline is: "Iran Threatens Israel, Close to Nuclear Capabilities"

A year from now, the headline will be: "Iran Threatens Israel, Close to Nuclear Capabilities"

Wake me up when it says: "Iran is now a giant sandbox."

Maybe they can't. Or maybe they've decided to bank on mutually assured destruction.

No one really knows what to do. You can't launch a pre-emptive nuclear war. I'm at a loss myself.

Great two part question. Everybody is in denial as to what "must" be done. Moving against Iran still will not solve the problem of people wanting Israel and the US destroyed. Do you understand that even if we kill him or any of the other "radical" Muslims, all believers of Islam will view them as martyrs. It is their mullah infected brainwashing that has them all believing it is their way to Paradise to die fighting their own self declared enemies. Short of nuking Mecca and witnessing their idol destroyed with no divine intervention occurring, how do you neutralize the threat? Remember it is not just a nation state that threatens world peace, it is a religion.
