here's a very short video of Mark Schultz message to troops
http://www.mojoflix.com/Video/MarkSchultzMessage.html

this is what I wrote down while listening to it but may not be totally accurate...

Hey, I'm Mark Schultz. I wrote Letters From War because my great-grandmother had three sons in World War Two. She kept a diary and I gotta read through it and read all the letters she wrote to them and all the letters they wrote back to her. They've been called the greatest generation because of what they've done for our country. The greatest impact they had on me was coming back, hanging out with me, taking me on the tractor, taking me fishing, and they played a huge role in my life. Likewise, I know you guys will be the next greatest generation and the impact you'll make back here in this country. Hanging out with your kids, families, your grandkids. We're counting on you. When you come back home, make sure you see somebody. Maybe another soldier who's gone through what you've gone through. Whether it's a minister or just somebody that can help you settle back in here to the states. I'm proud of everything you've done. Make it home. Be safe.

Thanks to Judy for this one... Merry Christmas Everyone!

Christmas Tradition
When four of Santa's elves got sick, the trainee elves did not produce toys as fast as the regular ones, and Santa began to feel the pre-Christmas pressure. Then Mrs Claus told Santa her Mother was coming to visit, which stressed Santa even more.

When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two others had jumped the fence and were out, Heaven knows where.

Then when he began to load the sleigh, one of the floorboards cracked, the toy bag fell to the ground and all the toys were scattered. So, frustrated, Santa went in the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum.

When he went to the cupboard, he discovered the elves had drank all the cider and hidden the liquor.

In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider jug, and it broke into hundreds of little glass pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found the mice had eaten all the straw off the end of the broom.

Just then the doorbell rang, and irritated Santa marched to the door, yanked it open, and there stood a little angel with a great big Christmas tree. The angel said very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't this a lovely day?  I have a beautiful tree for you. ...Where would you like me to put it...?"

...And so began the time-honored tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.
