I don't know why Timmy scheduled Newt for today. He obviously doesn't like talking to him and he doesn't dare engage him on anything of substance. Maybe it was just to read the nasty stuff from the Atlanta paper.

Wow, great job as usual anita. I especially liked the piece on BOR.

He obviously has fantasies of being in the same league with Hannity and Rush but guess what, you have to be a true believer not a "wannnnnabe" Bill. We spot phonies in a heartbeat.

Last week Hannity visited the troops and it was an awesome display of someone who is a true believer genuinely thanking the troops for all that they do!

Hannity was terrific in Iraq and pointed out just what our brave troops do,believe in, and give up, to fight for their country. We have the finest fighting force ever assembled now doing the job in Iraq, and last week Hannity pointed that out without making "himself" the center of attention. BOR is not a true believer, sorry Bill, won't work,no short cuts allowed.

Interesting you should use the nuke scenario....an individual called into scpan and asked Mueller just that question and complained that Meuller was underestimating the threat. Were you that caller?

LOL .

No, I wouldn't waste my time.

If I ever call a talk show it will be when the great and amiable Mark Steyn gets his own show, preferably from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m., weekdays.

;-)

I agree. For younger freepers it is perhaps hard to realize that we didn't always have this constant warfare in Washington. Sure there were disagreements over issues, but nothing like this.

I think the Clintons got this started, but then it has been augmented by the news channels and talk radio. It is absolutely poisonous to our nation, and the results can be seen in the democrat senators who have gone to Syria to talk with Assad. This would not have happened 30 years ago, because it would have been considered disgraceful.

Now they feel free to do so because as far as they are concerned anything goes as long as it advances the democrat power grab. I believe things will only get worse in the 2008 cycle.

Wallace asks what they plan to do. Kennedy chuckles, "Wait and see."

He must be trying to dust off and decode john Kerry's secret plan.

Newt is brilliant in dealing with these clowns.

Agreed. I don't mind his having an ego, they all do. What I do mind is his constant harping about he'll do this or that, or something happened because of him, or he's somehow the savior of mankind. Add in his whacko positions on many issues and he just becomes unwatchable for me.

I understand that Joy Behar (colossal Jewel of Ignorance) claimed that The Republicans caused Tim Johnson to have his Medical Crisis. If that was at all possible, I think It would be sent The Swimmer's way instead. Like the Republicans reached into Tim Johnson's brain while he was en utero and messed it up. All of the Democrats have been praying for a change for someone to survive just so he can keep them in the Majority. I have seen it all now, just when you think that they cannot sink any lower, they dive for the Sewer. The Republicans, particularly the Conservatives have done nothing but talk about praying for him and wishing for a speedy recovery (Johnson) and wishing his family the best. What a contrast, but then most of us know who is really in charge. and we feel he will will guide us in the right path. The Rats only think of Power because they have such miserable secular lives without their ability to tell everyone else how to live their lives.

I think Timmy just said that the ACLU are patriots

Indeed, he did. In fact, Newt agreed with him, except with the qualifier that they're suicidal.

Panel up; I bet there will be a good smack down of Juan today; I just feel it, given Teddy was on and the panel is talking about increases in troops for Iraq!

Although no one is as good as his brothers were.

His brothers almost got us all killed. They had the dope on the Russian missiles in Cuba for some time before dropping it (the spy pictures) on the Russian ambassador. It was done so clumsily and confrontationally and so late that we almost all got killed. I remember those October days walking to and from school wondering if we would make it through the day.

Yea, those Kennedy's were just great. (barf)

bor is so arrogant and shameless - one of the main reasons I turned him off. It had gotten to the point the only thing he could say that I could agree with was in dealing with the child predators

Watch Glenn Beck on cnn Headline news, funny, honest, talking about things nobody else is. I quit bor a while ago, and now watch Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto.

I think it all started after the 1994 election that won congress for Republicans. Then, the Clinton impeachment made it worse for them and they have been totally nasty ever since then.

democrat senators who have gone to Syria to talk with Assad. This would not have happened 30 years ago, because it would have been considered disgraceful.

And the Pubbies sit quietly.

The Dems threw a bigger fuss about Trent Lott's comment at Senator Thurmond's 100th birthday party.

Pubbies just do not know how to engage the debate. They have learned little in the last 12 years they held the majority.

Notice how the Dems already are calling the shots, and they don't even really take over until after January 1, 2007. Like it or not, the Dems know how to act like the majority party.

If CNN was smart (and they are not), they would move Beck into Paula Zahn's place (her ratings are horrid, even MSNBC beats her), or put him up against Mr. O. But he is too conservative for big CNN, but if they had a brain, it is what they would do.

Newt made a good point about the partisanship having now become pathological. It really is worse than it's ever been, and I put this right at the Clinton's doorstep.

I agree.

Hillary and now the entire Democrat Party live by old Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals".

And it's working because the old media promotes and protects them.

We don't get MTP in our area yet; has Timmy asked Newt if he plans to run?
