I feel filthy just reading your rant.
Yeah I can see your point.
The DUmmies that live in Conspiracy Land are always good for a chuckle when they star fearing the power of Teh Rove.
Reid's behavior has just been unseemly, but that is not unusual for him. It is clear from his response that Johnson is NOT concious and he may never regain consciousness, but he WILL stay a senator unless he stops breathing...and even then, they would try to cover that up. And then there's Akaka, Inouye and Byrd they have to worry about.
It is an absolute disgrace. The best line Burton has had is "let me finish".
Pascrell is telling the American public that the Administration never talks to Iran or any other arab country and that Kerry went to talk to Syria at the request of a Republican Congressman, Frank Wolf, which is total garbage.
Burton doesn't refute him, the anchor doesn't ask Pascrell to clairfy his facially absurd claims, and PAscrell dos 80% of the talking.
Perhaps most disgracefully, Burton never mentions the Constitution when he complains about Kerry conducting his own foreign policy.
We will never win in the court of public opinion if we only send meek ignoramuses out to debate with street fighters. Looking like nice guys certainly isn't helping us.
Until the people we send to Washington are more concerned about enacting an agenda than being well-received at Georgetown cocktail parties, and until we train our candidates to debate the issues on TV, none of the work we do at the grassroots level will mean squat.
It was a disgrace. I know 5th-graders who can carry the argument better than Dan Burton.
Definitely.
One school day then in particular I remember I walked home from school during those times. I was walking about a mile and a half from school down city streets in Pittsburgh to my home. The silence among all the pedestrians and others was deafening. No one was speaking. The fear in the air was almost something that you could reach out and touch.
And Kennedy's handling of the information that we had found on the missile silos was held onto for way too long. He basically created a crisis!
Kennedy nearly got us all killed by the way he and his guys handled that matter. That is the unvarnished truth.
As long as there are Demonrat governors, there really is nothing to worry about if one of the dems departs this earth.
Yup ..... we need to break out the harpoons.
The Governor of Hawaii is a Republican.
My goodness, Joe Sestak is so whiny.
Or seek medical help!
I missed where you posted how you were poaching your eggs, but I know it is different in Denver because of the altitude. That's one of the big things I remember from the first time I visited my sister there.
Have you ever seen this guy on Food Network, George Duran, who does the "Ham On The Street" show? He did an episode about microwave cooking and challenged some college students to cook eggs in the microwave. Each of them tried something different and all were awful. He then showed them how to make Microwave Cornbread Eggs Benedict. I won't post the full recipe for copyright reasons, but you can read it at the link, if it sounds interesting. However, here's how he poaches the eggs in the microwave.
Fill a 1-quart microwave safe bowl 1/2 full with water. Crack the eggs into it and poke a hole in the yolks with a skewer or toothpick. Microwave on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until the whites are set and the yolks are still soft. Remove from the oven and set aside.
I haven't tried it yet, but it looked easy and the whole concoction looked good.
Thanks.
I did not begin that!
I prefer to do them without any water just grease a teacup well and crack egg into the cup prick the yoke and then experiment on how long you need to cook them in my 650 it is about minute and a quarter.
Enough already. More than enough!
