For the last few years, I've encountered a group of Palestinian Christians from Bethlehem who travel to the U.S. to sell carved wooden and mother of pearl handicrafts (mostly religious items) in the local malls at Christmastime. They tell me it's to help support the Christian community in Bethlehem, who as we can see from the article, are in dire straits.

It would be a terrible thing to see Christians disappear from the town of Christ's birth.

At first I disagreed, falling back on the Christian faith that all will
work out fine in eternity.

But I do agree in a short-run temporal sense.

I've become very pessimistic lately, and really expect the last 100 million or so Christians on Earth (and for the most part they'll be right here in America, no doubt about that) will face mass crucifixion. Satan will not succeed, however. The Bible tells us that. But I have no doubt about the manner in which many of us will die.

Was in Bethlehem last year on a tour and could wait to get back to the Israeli side. Why the Jews gave up this land is beyond me. Some day they will have to take it back.

I cannot imagine anything worse than an islamic world. I agree it CANNOT be allowed to happen. It cannot happen unless we ALLOW it to happen. We have the means to eradicate islam but I fear we lack the will. islam is anti-life. A dark and depraved system of social control. I just hope that the West awakens to the true satanic nature of islam and takes the necessary steps to eliminate "islamic culture" before the price for doing so involves thermonuclear warfare. islam is the enemy of freedom and the individual. What islam proclaims as a 'religion' is absolutely idiotic.

Don't worry - I'm already working on that. The common courtesies I extend to others (holding doors open for others in public, or the friendly nod of acknowledgement, for example) do not apply to any Muslims I encounter.

To them, I'm a total jerk. No violence, no threats - just little things that let them know that they are NOT WELCOME HERE.
