THE ABSURDITY OF HILLARY
|
... While America appears not to be ready for a female president under any circumstances, the post-9/11 realities pose special problems for a female presidential candidate. Add to these the problems unique to missus clinton. The reviews make the mistake of focusing on the problems of the generic female presidential candidate running during ordinary times.
These are not ordinary times. America is waging the global War on Terror; the uncharted territory of asymmetric netherworlds is the battlefield; the enemy is brutal, subhuman; the threat of global conflagration is real.
Defeating the enemy isn't sufficient. For America to prevail, she must also defeat a retrograde, misogynous mindset. To successfully prosecute the War on Terror, it is essential that the collective patriarchal islamic culture perceives America as politically and militarily strong. Condi Rice excepted, this requirement presents an insurmountable hurdle for any female presidential candidate, and especially missus clinton, historically antimilitary--(an image, incidentally, that is only enhanced today by her clumsy, termagant parody of Thatcher), forever the pitiful victim, and, according to Dick Morris, "the biggest dove in the clinton administration."
It is ironic that had the clintons not failed utterly to fight terrorism... not failed to take bin Laden from Sudan... not failed repeatedly to decapitate a nascent, still stoppable al Qaeda... the generic female president as a construct would still be viable... missus clinton's obstacles would be limited largely to standard-issue clintonisms: corruption, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, megalomania, rape and treason... and, in spite of Juanita Broaddrick, or perhaps because of her, Rod Lurie would be reduced to perversely hawking the "First Gentleman" instead of the "Commander-in-Chief." |
Dictionary.com Unabridged (v 1.1) - Cite This Source fifth column
noun 1. a group of people who act traitorously and subversively out of a secret sympathy with an enemy of their country.
2. (originally) Franco sympathizers in Madrid during the Spanish Civil War: so called in allusion to a statement in 1936 that the insurgents had four columns marching on Madrid and a fifth column of sympathizers in the city ready to rise and betray it.
It wouldn't hurt to take a closer look at his writings and see if we can build a case for this hypothesis.
We could then send letters (paper and electronic) to John Gibson and any other hosts who regularly interview him on Fox.
Thanks, I missed this tidbit...
You're welcome, pinz-n-needlez. :)
Morris is a pollseter, and a political consultant. If Bill believes in governing by polls, Morris supports him in that completely.
Morris knows how many people are deeply entrenched in their dislike of Hillary and that he is in a unique position to exploit that.
He has also shown himself to be rather lacking in the honorable traits, so I don't see him having a lot of qualms in working both sides here. He makes his living from one side, but maintains access (and who knows what other goodies) from the other side.
In a match-up between him and the Clintons, singularly or jointly, who do you think would be the better manipulator??
But he isn't an idiot. So why did he give clearly erroneous advice to Jeanine Pirro, among others?
Pirro, a 30-year champion of the raped and otherwise abused women,
could have nailed hillary and ended her 'career' for good... and for The Good.
(Listen to Morris in movie #1, segment #2)
I listened to the first set of links, and heard Morris talking about Lenzner and Pellicano. I didn't hear specific advice for Pirro.
Those are some great clips, BTW. :-)
Every man has his price and Dick has always been cheap for the elite.
Morris' advice to Pirro was at a private lunch in Westchester in summer '05.
The point of the Morris clip is that he knew all about hillary clinton's ABUSE OF WOMEN and he told this champion of abused women not to use it.
Kind of like a cheap prostitute, eh?
Thanks, I misunderstood your earlier instructions.
Morris wrote all about Saturday Night Bill. He absolutely knows what he's capable of.
But Dick still wants to be on His Team, hanging with the 'cool kids.' Never mind the danger to everyone around him, our country and even the world.... :-(
He absolutely knows what SHE'S capable of.
Sadly, a few of us do too.
I think his yearning to be 'cool' outweighs his survival instincts. I think she/he/they are using him, whether he's aware of it or not.
Useful idiots are dangerous, too.
