That's like being half-pregnant. Either you is or you isn't.

If they were wanting to refer to *ethnicity*, then they should say, "half-Jewish, half-Gentile." "Gentile" does not equal "Christian"; it equals "non-Jew."

Also, it is possible for someone to be 100% Jewish ethnically (a descendant of Jacob) and 100% Christian religiously (a believer in Jesus). Most all the first Christians were. I know people today who are.
