A truck-driving student is in custody in Boston after raising suspicions when he wasnt interested in learning how to back up his rig.WLVI-TV (Ch. 56) reported last night that the would-be trucker is a 28-year-old Muslim from India and had overstayed his visa. An investigation is under way to see whether there is any connection between his unusual behavior and a terrorism plot. Federal authorities were alerted by instructors at the Nationwide Tractor Trailer Driving School in Smithfield, R.I., WLVI reported.
Doesn't this sound familiar to those students wanting to learn how to fly with no interest in landing the plane? The student was a resident of New York and had driver's licenses from New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island. Any of these indicators alone would be one thing, but a combination of all of them qualifies for common sense suspicion. It won't surprise me to see CAIR or the ACLU pull out the race card on this.

My drivers used to call these concrete cowboys "fruit pickers" and we really didn't want them backing to our doors after losing a couple of curtains and a bollard.
We agree on the bottom line.
Makes sense! :)
I think there may be more to this story than meets the eye. It will be interesting to hear more details as they become available.
Have a great day!
Some place I've heard and seen lyrics to a bluegrass song about a guy that backs his 18-wheeler all the way across the Country but I can't find it now. Can't recall the title.
Boston Herald Title:
Feds bust truck trainee who balks at back up
Muslims leave the backing up to beardless youths.
>>>As soon as Abdullah blows up an 18 Wheeler loaded with 'Dirty Bombs' we will need Jim Baker and the study group to tell us what the H&ll happened!
Correction: we will need Jim Baker and the study group to offer our surrender!
Then there's that old C&W song, "Give me 40 acres and I'll turn this rig around."
Oh come on, what could possibly be dangerous about a self-propelled 53-foot box that can move about freely without raising suspicion?
