When it said spiral, I thought that maybe it would rotate. Now THAT would be cool. Imagine your view changing all day long.

Check out the Space Needle if you ever get to Seattle. The resturant rotates every hour, allowing a 360 deg view while you eat. It's pretty amazing.

You ever eat at Windows On The World, the restaurant that was at the top of the World Trade Center? It rotated. And that was definitely cool. Any time of day.

Will the Shelbourne Development Group purchase enough fire engine ladder trucks tall enough to reach the top of the structure to prevent people from jumping to their deaths during a major fire??

Ya gotta come. Summer is usually about 75 or so. Winter is only 45 or so most of the time. All the mountains, the water, the green all around.

Nope, first time in NY was last February. I did see the hole, though.

2,000 feet? Do I read that right?
Wouldn't that make it the tallest building in the world? Not just the tallest ~residential~ building?
I believe the tallest "occupied floor" is still the Sears Tower. Also Chicago. But this looks like it'll blow the doors off of that one by some several hundred feet.

Looks like a giant candy cane. All it needs is a red stripe. (And thus, it's only a matter of time until the ACLU steps in!)

My fav was to eat there as the sun set. Start the meal in daylight, finish the meal at night with all the city lights spread out below. Truly awesome. Something I'll never forget.

What a strange question. Of course there won't be ladder trucks that can reach 2,000 feet high.
If you wanna ask weird questions... ask if there will be parachutes. :-)

Wouldn't that make it the tallest building in the world? Not just the tallest ~residential~ building? Nope, burj dubai in Dubai will have the record.
