Alternative to YouTube: LiveLeak.com (More Tolerant than Google's YouTube?)
LiveLeak ^ | 12/12/06 | Recovering_Democrat

Drudge had video from LiveLeak.com up on his site earlier this week...I forget the story. But I did some browsing at the site, and while I found plenty of propaganda video by the terrorists I also found some video links that appear to be from soldiers fighting for our freedom.

I haven't done a search for conservative commentary per se, but I know YOUTUBE booted Michelle Malkin off...would "LiveLeak.com" be a good alternative to the liberal bias so evident on the Google-owned Youtube?

(Excerpt) Read more at liveleak.com ...

TOPICS: Culture/Society; News/Current Events; Your Opinion/Questions
KEYWORDS: internet; liveleak; youtube
Here are some links that appear to be from the Coaltion:

US Army calls in an airstrike to take out an insurgent position. Ramadi, Iraq

Blackwater snipers killing insurgents in Iraq

3/8 Kilo compilation from Ramadi, Iraq: Part 2

Again, this is just a partial list. There appear to be many more...and yes, there are videos by the bad guys, too, on the site.

I've just heard so many complaints about the other site's bias, I thought this one might be more amenable to the conservative message. The left is so intolerant of dissent, LiveLeak just may be more open.

I've noticed that a video that I wanted to watch for ages (the "Yallah Ya Nasrallah" one) was taken off due to "terms of service violation". I guess that just translates into "not a looney America-hating liberal".

Live Leak used to be Ogrish.com. A site you did not want to visit while eating.

If you use the Ogrish URL you will get to Live Leak. They have some good clips and some lame ones. And a lot of ignorant comments and some good ones.

Regards.

The thing about youtube.com is that they have a very set policy on complaints - you get a certain number of complaints on a video, it's pulled. You get a certain number of videos pulled, your account is banned.

It is the liberal community who frequents there that censors conservative viewpoints off, not youtube.com itself, and it would be nice if youtube suspended the policy that allows this to happen.

I just checked the site now... not bad... it works just fine but for me nothing works better and serves better than Metacafe.com...

I can watch lots of the same videos anyone can find in Goog's or LiveLeak and others with almost all categories plus the privelege to download what i like most for free... for free! You might wanna check it out!

It looks like they kind of cleaned up their act by not showing the typical fare that was once OGRISH.
