The Ohio Senate has passed House Bill 347 (reforming concealed carry, standardizing Ohio gun laws statewide) by a vote of 21 to 12, thus overriding Governor Taft's veto.
Good news!!!! About time!
Woohoo!
Well done Ohio.
Why doesn't Taft do everyone a favor and resign?
Awww, poor Tafty.... NOT.
Keywords added.
Good riddance governor Taft!
Too bad your incompetence and corruption cast a dark shadow on the other Republicans running this year. Blackwell would have been a great governor.
How much for you to come out here and work the same magic in California?
Ohio does something right.
Screw you, Bob Taft. Pretty bad when your veto gets overridden by your own party.
21 to 12 isn't a 2/3 vote. What is required for an override in Ohio?
Good news...
In Ohio it only takes three-fifths to override (for most things -- apparently there are some situations that require two-thirds, but it looks like this wasn't one of them).
three-fifths according to Ohio Constitution:

They needed 20.

In yo' FACE, Taft!!!
We had to override our RAT governor's veto here in KS also.
Good Job Ohio.
Buh-bye RINO Bob Taft. Anyone GOP who would veto a firearms bill like this - is a RINO in my book.
I can now go buy the handgun I want. I am going to Cleland's and I am going shopping now. :) :) :). FU TAFT!
Great. Now those fine citzens known as the Bengals can be drunk murderers.
