Now you say you're lonely
You cry the whole night through
Well, you can cry me a river
Cry me a river I cried a river over you

And he wasn't at least a little nuts before he got to prison?

I left the music area close to where the bomb went off 30 minutes before I would have been bombed by this guy at the Olympics. No joke.

Little sympathy here.

Olympic bomber Eric Rudolph laments in a series of letters to a newspaper that the maximum-security federal prison where he is spending the rest of his life is designed to drive him insane.

How would we tell the difference between the old Eric Rudolph and the new, "wild and crazy kind of guy" Eric Rudolph? It's not as if this guy was wrapped up very tightly to begin with...

He should convert to being a Muslim and then the ACLU and NY Times would scream bloodly murder.

Sounds like the terrorists at Gitmo Health & Fitness Vacation Spa get better treatment.

I read this one today at work. A torrent of tears made it difficult to eat lunch. I'm all better now, though.

BTW, I like the supermax prison concept. Warehouse these subhumans like mushrooms.

Hey, wouldn't it be worse if he had to complain about prison giving him AIDS instead of bi-polar disorder? I'd rather be incredibly lonely than constantly watching my @ss from some gigantic dude name Hector with a glass eye and a spider web tatooed on his face.

Let's ask Richard Jewell whether he thinks it's OK to go easier on Rudolph now. ;)

He is trying to set up a legal case. He wants the ACLU to declare that the Supermax system is "cruel and unusual."

Prepare for a decade of legal wrangling.

""Using solitary confinement, Supermax is designed to inflict as much misery and pain as is constitutionally permissible," he wrote in a letter."

Well. As long as it's 'constitutionally permissible' then we don't have a problem with it.

I bet if we had more prisons like this we would have fewer repeat offenders.
