What does Rudy think on immigration? Do social issues just get thrown out the window for 8 years? Do we let millions more die in abortion clinics? I'm sorry, but I'm not a big fan of another moderate.

Since Roe v. Wade, we have had at least 16 years of solid pro-life Republicans...and that's stopped abortion...how?

Don't even ask, all you are allowed to consider is already on the table!

I agree with you except that Guiliani would have to move right to become a moderate.

I'm 100% on your side, but - let's face it, those millions are going to die in abortion clinics no matter WHO is elected President.

My comment was directed toward Rudy v McCain....I would much rather have a Republican in office than a Democrat and I think Rudy could win over Hillary, if that is the choice. I also think Rudy would be much stronger in the war on terrorism.
Yes, I would love to see a conservative running for office and I think a Regan conservative could win. The powers that be do not seem to listen to us conservatives anymore.

As far as abortion issue goes I really do not see it being overturned at the Federal level, we could only hope. I think it has to be up to the states to ban abortion and we may see more success at the state level than at the federal level.....just my opinion....

Rudy supports a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. He's no different than President Bush, as far as I can see. On the other hand, President Bush was more passionate about this cause. He seems obsessed with opening the floodgates and giving everyone amnesty.

Those who side unrestricted abortions. Not a very clever strategy. Gabor

Only a moderate can win...the best you can do is hope for a candidate who believes strongly in States rights..that would be Rudy.

"Do we let millions more die in abortion clinics?"

This will not change in our lifetime.

I want the Rudy lovefest to stop! (you hear, Hannity?)We need a conservative nominee in 2008, not a RINO...Rudy touts his post-9/11 leadership, but wasn't he really just doing his job as NYC mayor?

Not to worry, Rudy is no moderate, just another RINO!

He gets (and eagerly accepts) all the credit for the work of many professional's after 911.
But it was really the staff at several agencies who did the work and made the important decisions he takes credit for.

Thinking people are generally aware of this, shallow groupies eager to follow the latest "Poll" are lining up behind him like he was handing out free homes.

When I have stated that should he become the candidate, or even the anointed favorite, that I will feel forced to find another party I was not kidding.

Rudy should run off a pier, NOT for president of THIS country.

The only reason no "third party" is viable is that so far not enough people have become disenchanted with the current parties.
But Rudy could change that.

"another moderate"

What we're told by MSM are "moderates" are really liberals.

Did Bush get rid of abortion? Rudy is in favor of strong, constitutionalist, judges. You get that and you are a lot closer to overturning Roe V Wade than if Hillary is elected and stacks the court with more Ginsbergs.

If it's Guilani against Clinton, I'll take Guiliani. If she gets in and the terrorists have their way, we are all going to be abortions if we don't covert!
