My comment was directed toward Rudy v McCain....I would much rather have a Republican in office than a Democrat and I think Rudy could win over Hillary, if that is the choice. I also think Rudy would be much stronger in the war on terrorism.
Yes, I would love to see a conservative running for office and I think a Regan conservative could win. The powers that be do not seem to listen to us conservatives anymore.

As far as abortion issue goes I really do not see it being overturned at the Federal level, we could only hope. I think it has to be up to the states to ban abortion and we may see more success at the state level than at the federal level.....just my opinion....

Just like slavery once sowed the seeds for Civil War, I think the abortion issue has and will continue to do the same.

Up until Roe v Wade was conjured up, it WAS up to the states to ban abortion. And they almost all did, although that was about to change. That's the whole point of objections to Roe--it's out of the hands of the states.
