I saw that in his "announcement" of said closed meeting that Harry used the word "concensus"...
That should be the scariest word for we conservatives that can be uttered at this point.
I am sure Conrad Burns helped bring about this idea, when he went on the Senate floor and gave a speech about how all of them got along so well, and could have good conversations about things, until the TV cameras come on.
Well...I would submit, that when the cameras are ON, they can't make the sneaky deals that end up in most legislation.
Bah..I heard Reid make statements on Friday about how the minority isn't treated well..blah, blah.
I thought well the GOP hopefully watched how Reid manipulated the minority status..to his gain.
But, he also PRAISED the Gang of 14...which goes back to this closed session.

Depending on power level of your microwave in a 650 (yes I still have my 20 year old microwave) I put 2 eggs in a well buttered egg cup for just over a minute but also dependant upon size of egg smaller eggs less time larger one longer. You need to experiment the first couple of times. Don't forget to pierce the egg yoke with a cocktail stick or a tooth pick or it will will burst during cooking.

The sanctions were ineffective at best. The US knowingly allowed Iraq to sell oil to Jordan and Turkey and that was not under the Oil for Food regime. There is no doubt that Saddam's regime had lots of money to fund WMD and to support terrorists. Allowing that program to continue after 9/11 was a non-starter.
Ah, but you see, if one third of the income goes to the people, then they will be eager to sniff out corruption. Honest government will mean more money for them :o)
He must be delusional because things were not looking up for him all year long as he's been testing the waters while voting against conservative positions.
I sure am looking forward to some new faces emerging from the GOP ranks for the White House. The current crop seems disappointing so far.
We have not set a final withdraw date a draw down in some areas that we are handing over.
Many politicans including some Conservatives have said that we expect to have some troops in one capacity or another in 10 years time.
