Al Gore's not just a father of the internet. Not merely a savior of the planet. He's also a venerable psychotherapist. Ask Ann Curry.
'Today' opened its show this morning with a clip of a British reporter snidely asking President Bush, at his joint press conference yesterday with British PM Tony Blair, whether he was "in denial" over Iraq.
Curry kept the psychoanalysis going with this comment-in-the-guise-of-a-question to Tim Russert:
"This has got to be a tough time for this president. We heard earlier on this program from Al Gore, earlier this week, his recommendation to the president not to take all of this personally. Is there a sense in Washington that the president is having such a tough time with this personally that it's making it difficult, it's affecting his judgment, over what to do next in Iraq?"

Today Show politics-as-psychoanalysis ping.
Well, the old sick lying media ridiculed the president for six years so far about his lack of intelligence (not true), so they might as well catch up on that being repulsive and ignorant about his mental stability.

The socialist/Marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

Mark Simone made a good point on his show the other night: ask Al Gore something about President Bush and observe his body language as well as the words of his reply. It has an extreme effect on him. Then ask about OBL or 9/11, and he may as well be discussing the third sub-clause of some senate appropriations bill. The man is seriously deranged.
Reporters interviewing other reporters on their same network. That's about 90% of what the MSM does these days. Perish the thought of any diverse or opposing points of view. Wouldn't you just love to see Steyn or Victor Davis Hanson or Bernard Lewis or Christopher Hitchens get that level of exposure?
"Reporters interviewing other reporters on their same network. That's about 90% of what the MSM does these days."
Yep. Free advertizing for other time-slots.
A black preacher AND a noted psychotherapist.
Is there anything that Al CAN'T do?
He will NEVER be the little train that could.
They are now correspondents...they relay the meaning of the news to you.
Clinton could use Al.
that's because the Little Train was not a hybrid diesel-electric engine with a small 'energy footprint'.
A Freeper counter view would be nice. Interview one select Freeper if they want news.
lol
As another example:
Are you talking about how at the mention of "President Bush," he goes beet red and then goes ghostly white, getting the dry heaves before composing himself and offering, "When I used to be president..."
Jimmy Carter is the same way; I thought it was Liberal's Disease. There doesn't seem to be a cure for it; it is mostly fatal but apparently quite the ticket for getting one's own talk show on MSNBC because they feel genuinely sorry for you.
Ann Curry has problems reading the teleprompter. She shouldnt ad lib.

ROFL! Governsleastgovernsbest, last night at The Dose (thread), there were a couple of photos of President Bush and PM Blair which had me speculating....
"Loved these pics in post #31. I'm LOL. They are Mork style na-noo-ing. Maybe trying not to guffaw over that priggish, heckler journalist with the "gross thing" flickering in the global warming winds out his left nostril."
Check out those photos, and tell me I'm wrong. :)
Their expressions, I went purely on their expressions; and because that's probably how I would have looked when another cheaper-by-the-dozen journalist had gone on another inane rant.
