Bush Says Victory in Iraq is Important
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
Talking points. Amazing that the same phrase shows up on FR, isn't it?
You mean the Iranian puppets, right? They'd have to fight with spit wads if it weren't for their Iranian masters.
Huh?
HEAR HEAR!
I agree. Bush doesn't articulate well. He lets the media talking heads make points and walk all over him and seems to take for granted that everyone knows his position and that they support it. Maybe they would if he'd take the trouble to support it himself.
I'm heartened to hear him say that victory is important, but I remain skeptical that he'll articulate why or how. Or that he'll make it happen, from his weakened position. I confess to some disillusionment with this guy. I hope events prove me wrong.
I ain't a woman and stuff those cookies up your.......
What this shows is that two women have more courage, perseverence, confidence, and patriotism than you, Mr. Whiner. You go bake cookies. Mine are done and frozen waiting for Christmas Eve.
These media clowns need to be dropped through a trap door the second they ask a dumb question.
Sorry...I was quoting a reporter from the press conference.
Seems you are aware of those issues and I have heard those things. Apparently he's spoken on all those particular things and if he hasn't recently his administration has detailed all of that information.
Why should he spend every media opportunity constantly going over the same material?
We will not back down. Strategy change guaranteed but we will not and can not leave before the Iraqi's can hold their own. It's time that we assure them of that so that those in leadership will not seek aid from those we fight.
You sure do quit easily. I didn't know that "Miller" was French!
:-) Surrender is NOT part of the picture either. :-)
For the jihadanazi's and their supporting left in this country, WE Will Not Surrender to you!!!! We have not yet begun to fight!!!!
It's also nice for the left exposing themselves for ALL to see. They have sewn the wind. They shall reap the whirlwind.

It goes back to Kerry's 1971 testimony before Congress, "How do you ask someone to be the last man to die for a mistake?" If victory is not the goal, the logical question is why wait until 2008 to pull out all of our combat troops. Once you set a timetable not linked to the results, it is hard to justify losing more American lives.
"What this shows is that two women have more courage, perseverence, confidence, and patriotism than you, Mr. Whiner"
Yeah I jumped out of planes in the 82nd...you're so friggin brave enlist lil mis patrotism behind a computer.
I hope you're wrong. The battle for Iraq has divided America like nothing has since the Vietnam War, and that hasn't helped matters. But Iraq is only one part of the WOT. Should we leave Iraq, the Islamofascists aren't just going to stop fighting. Any sign of weakness from the US will be viewed by the terrorists as a victory of sorts. OTOH, Bush has to come up with a "new way" in Iraq. Both Bush and Blair said as much in their press conference today. Staying the course is no longer an option. We'll see if Bush and Blair offer anything new over the next 1-1/2 months, leading up to the Presidents 2007 SOTUS. Bush`s pre-holiday speech to the American people may hold some answers. We shall see.
....and just exactly where do you get your "reality", bub?
NYSlime? WaPo?
They nor you speak for me or for my children.
If you don't have anything to add to the discussion but cowards and traitors' talking points, get your loud a$$ out of the road so the rest of us can do the job.
Quit trying to hijack the thread.
