Bush has never been able to articulate how Iraq fits into the GWOT, and most Americans now believe it doesn't. He stuck his toe in the water when he spoke about "islamo-facism" as the ideology behind the terrorists and began to link that to Saddam, Syria and Iran, but immediately pulled it out the moment he was criticized. I love the guy and admire Bush and Blair's determination, but it's hurt not to have an articulate leader, like Reagan was during the Cold War.

Agreed. The Dems and the MSM have successfully separated Iraq from the WOT. We have the "good" war in Afghanistan and the "war of choice" in Iraq. We even have Bill Clinton encouraging the sending more US troops to Afghanistan.
