Meanwhile good American boys die while this plays out. Not worth one more life or limb. Face reality guys.

While I do agree that the entire population of Iraq is not worthy of the loss of one of our GI's, we are defending freedom and the American way of life there. Those are worth fighting and dying for.

I guess all the libs forget this quote from President John F. Kennedy, "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty."

Dubya and Blair have NEVER backed down on this. And if I recall, the President is STILL IN CHARGE

Very true.

I figured a few of us should speak up before the thread got hijacked again.

For those pessimistic poltroons here, please, just BE QUIET. You advance nothing with your whining and dark predictions.

The President should announce a Manhattan style project for energy independence.

Put up a couple billion $ for private research and competition and watch this country find a way off foreign energy.

10 Years to Zero Oil Imports - that should be our policy.

I'm surprised Bush won't surrender to the Iraqis, he certainly has surrendered to Mexico.

Well, you certainly sing that ONE NOTE well.

Our Senators on the other hand are a true disgrace, bent on power, greed, status and their OWN PERSONAL successes.

Yes. They're all a bunch of pampas a$$es. It is all about them. Once a politician gets to Washington, he/she becomes a millionaire. They can always leave the country if things get too rough.

IT IS OVER.

If you give up, sit down and shut up. There are better people who are not finished, and will continue the good fight.

Kindly do not spit on them as they pass and leave you behind.

Before Bush ran for the Presidency in 2000 he made his position clear on illegal immigration. He hasn't changed that position even though I am not in favor of his position. If you voted for him, then you should have been aware of his position on that matter. Your fault, not his.

Victory is mandated. Anything less is giving the terrorists incentives to continue.

Agreed, but we must also address the Islamofascist problem which is funded now not only by oil money but everything else as it spreads around the world like a cancer.

Lou Dobbs on the Laura's show now saying roughly, "good American boys are dying while this plays out", I guess this will be the talking point of today.

Oh, good, a question about whether Bush will admit failures.

Pfft.

One part of the ISG report that proved to me it was a POS report was when one of their recommendations was for the US to give the Golan Heights back to Syria as if it's ours to give back to them.

If the Left and some knee jerk conservatives get their way, they will add the following amendment to the Constitution:

A war must be stopped and we must surrender if:

We lose more than one thousand troops, or the war lasts more than 3 months, or the war costs more than 50 billion dollars, whichever comes first.
