I've been looking for a map of the USA that indicates where the government-controlled land is. The one I recall seeing here years ago and can't find now had sections in colors of yellow, green, red etc. indicating what part of the goverment controlled the land.
I had saved a link to one of the maps like that, but the link is no longer any good. http://www.nwi.org/Maps/GovernmentLand.gif
If anyone saved the map, I would appreciate a working link or repost of the map.
No, the government doesn't control all the land in the US.
I pay property taxes because it's the most efficient way to assure fire and police protection.
I don't plant MJ, smuggle illegal aliens or compose nuclear bombs on my property because I have no desire to do so.
Nor does the federal government own or control the socialist national park near me. The last park supervisor that tried to harass citizens here is gone. The new supervisor is a pleasant person and she knows where she stands before the citizens - or else.
If citizens elsewhere have problems with government attacking their property, it's because those citizens haven't looked at methods to control government.
We're not all slaves and serfs in America.
I believe it is less than 1%.

Not much States’ rights there when the feds have so much land they have kept or taken.
