Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has warned Western leaders to follow the path of God or "vanish from the face of the earth".
"These oppressive countries are angry with us ... a nation that on the other side of the globe has risen up and proved the shallowness of their power," Ahmadinejad said in a speech in the northern town of Ramsar, the semi-official news agency Mehr reported Wednesday.
"They are angry with our nation. But we tell them 'so be it and die from this anger'. Rest assured that if you do not respond to the divine call, you will die soon and vanish from the face of the earth," he said.
The outspoken president also maintained Iran's defiance over its controversial nuclear programme, saying it was on course to fully master nuclear technology.
"Thank to God's help, we have gone all the way and are only one step away from the zenith.
"We hope to have the big nuclear celebration by the end of the year (March 2007)," Ahmadinejad said, echoing comments he has made on numerous occasions in recent months.

Christ said one will be taken out of the field while working and the other left. One will be sleeping and taken and the other left. This is in relation to different time zones, some will be working while others sleeping. If Christ meant one taken and one left that implies 50% of the population is raptured. That will be a tough one for world leaders to explain for sure -

Here is what I don't understand regarding the muslims and Christ. They believe Christ was a true prophet of God but not the son of God. They believe the other prophets based on their historic accuracy of their predictions but not Christ who was also historically accurate in His predictions but not His claim that He was the son of God...

I for one say we will react and overreact including the use of nukes when it does happen on our soil. The biggest shame is this can be avoided now. How? The West develops our own alternative energy source and the funding for organized, state sponsored terror ends. No more oil revenues, no more money for supporting mosques preaching violence, no more money for suicide bombs or travel to carry out nasty terrorist missions. Will we do it? NO! Big oil, politicians and greed have ensured this will take three times as long to be energy independant. Our enemies know this too and the time for coordinated attack is in the next decade BEFORE this happens so we as a nation are crippled. Our two party system is now a Republic, like the Senate of Rome, controlled by the few.
Their god is the god of the abuse of women and goats. We don't ever want to be anything like them.

There is something about these people and their need for braggadocio, their need to threaten and to try to bully others. It ties in I believe with their need to inflict pain and fear by beheadings. I believe its a cultural thing a failing of confidence. I believe they are afriad amnd to combat it they try to produce fear. They are a pitiful lot living under a cult the plays right into these weaknesses.

I don't expect them to play by western rules, at least the fanatics. The others, who tacitly support them however, might have at least one foot in this century. However, I expect that we would receive some divine assistance in this battle if we bring ourselves closer to the true God. Nuclear arms won't defeat them. Omnipotent arms might do so, but only if we and our society are a better alternative.
