Reporter wants to know if the President can pick and choose what he likes from this study This study group was authorized by Congress, not by the President or the Military. It has no power at all. I haven't been able to watch. Has this fact been mentioned?

Sort of. One of the old men acknowledged that they were only one of several groups offering advice.

It has no power at all.Baker said as much. The problem is that, while it has no official power, the media is giving it tremendous power. This is a stick with which to beat the President into submission.

This study group was authorized by Congress, not by the President or the Military Once again, the Republican Congress does a great job of pissing it's pants.
