Absolutely. They entered the private offices of restaurants and if they saw an ashtray with ashes, the owner was fined.
NYers are supposed to be so tough but they rolled over with only small wimpers and re-elected Blooming-idiot.
Of course, his opponent would have been worse.
However, NYers have now elected Spitzer for Governor, bebe Cuomo for A.G. and an admitted crook for Comptroller.

I dissagree. The Boomers were drafted into Vietnam for a good cause. It was the Boomers that pulled us out of Vietnem, ceased bombing to renegtiate, then gave up. There is nothing honorable about the Vietnam War, other than our original intentions. Baby Boomers recklessly and vainly sacrificed the lives of 50,000 men in a theater of the cold war while not fighting a total war. We then pulled out and the communists slaughtered thousands.
Had we gone in and bombed N. Vietnam into unconditional surrender, be damned Jane Fonda and John Kerri, the war would have been shorter, fewer American's would have died and we would have won.
Baby Boomers didn't have the stomach to win the war.
