Ex-President Carter Talks of Funeral Plans
breitbart.com ^ | 12/3/2006

Former President Jimmy Carter said Sunday he hopes to be buried in front of his home in Plains, the southwest Georgia town where he and his wife were born. "Plains is special to us," the 82-year-old said during a three-hour live C-SPAN2 interview. "I could be buried in Arlington Cemetery or wherever I want, but my wife was born here and I was born here."

As a child, Carter briefly lived next door to Rosalynn, and the two began dating in 1945. The couple married the next year and in July celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

"Plains is where our hearts have always been," he said.

Carter said there are also plans for a funeral in Washington as well as a brief display of his body in Atlanta.

Carter thinks so much of himself, his plan is larger than any other President's.

Carter is a perfect example of the maxim: No one is useless, you can always serve as a bad example.

That's quaint. The style now is to be freeze-dried and vibrated to dust. The dust can be shot over the peanut farm from a 12-gauge. Pull!

Every American who had to live through his administration should be sure to boycott anything to do with Carter's funeral. Carter was the sorriest POTUS of the 20th century.

Today my wife and I went over to Union Station in Washington DC to see the Christmas model train exhibit. I was reminded of how Union Station had looked in the 70's after Carter (in one of his idiotic micromanagement strategies) deliberately let the place go to pot - moldy, leaking roofs, falling ceilings, decaying molding, and rotting, dangerous walkways.

All that changed with President Reagan. Reagan handed management of Union Station over to private enterprise, and they turned it into an upscale shopping mall, which it remains today. As I looked up at the beautifully restored gold-leaf mouldings, the tasteful Christmas decorations, the bustling shoppers and the tinkling piano playing in the background, two thoughts came to mind: "Thank you President Reagan!" and "Jimmy Carter, you are an idiot!"

"Maybe we could do a two-fer with Castro."

My thoughts exactly.
Or maybe we could make it a group affair...Saddam, Chavez, Al Sadr, Ahmadinejad's puppet masters (and Ahmadinejad, of course), Obredor of Mexico, Kim Jong Il, Hezbollah, Hamas, etc

Can you repent in Hell?
