You and I don't see those wages as adequate, but it's my take that the Cubans would be happy to have them.

Cuba's tourism would instantly skyrocket should the government moderate their policies.

I don't think we should think of the opening up of Cube per se in a negative light. Even if some 'carpet bagging' takes place, the average Cuban's lot would surely double or triple in ghe first decade, and perhaps significantly more.

I understand the cause for some people's concern, but I still think things would work out fairly well.
