Where's Jesse? Where's Al? Where's the NAACP? Ohh, that's right. The NAACP says they are "withholding judgement" as to whether or not this is a hate crime. Bet if the perps were 30 white youths and the vics were three innocent black girls, they'd find some "judgement." In this case, Jesse would only probably show up for the perps.
Everyone, if you haven't been following this story and would like to know more, here are some more links.
The victims share stories of the attack : here
Long Beach officials want a Hate Crime definition so tight it would not include the Reginald Denny beating in the Rodney King riots: here
Excellent report on the neighborhood "Kumbaya" meeting in which the local councilwoman attacked the media, saying she didn't want this "incident" to get as much coverage as it has; said meeting was NOT supposed to get out beyond those "directly affected" (because surely no one in SoCal needs to know that white teens can be marauded by wild packs of murderous black youths): here
Here is the Long Beach Press Telegram's public spanking of the councilwoman: here
NAACP does a little tap-dancing but condemns the vicious attack: here

Have Sharpton and Jackson expressed their outrage yet?
Yeah, you just have to look at the Duke case to prove that. In the Duke case there is no evidence that a crime even took place and yet they are all guilty even the ones that can prove they weren't there.
Black youths mob and attack innocent white girls Long Beach Hate Crime PING!
These are the "folks" that will keep the dreaded "N" word alive and appropriate.
Semper Fi
There hasn't been nearly as much outrage expressed over this despicable, loathsome act as there has over a few WORDS from a washed-up comedian!
"Black youths mob and attack innocent white girls Long Beach Hate Crime PING!"
No no... Long Beach is a third world ountry!
I look forward to the new leadership of Congress to call for a hate crime investigation of this incident.
Not.
Er, they didn't? ...They didn't report on it at all? ...Hmmmmm.
Oh well, I bet the REST of the MSM was all over it, right?
No, you say? Hmmmmm....
They are too busy pimping money out of Richard what's his name, to fix the real serious hate crimes, the verbal ones.
Besides black people are only victims of the white power structure, so it's hard to blame them for beating innocent white people
Has it attracted nationwide attention? I don't watch much TV, but I've only heard about it through your posts. Good point about the Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharptongue. I was thinking similarly. They'll probably be raising funds and counseling the disaffected yutes.

Brave people. Nice to see good rise up in the face of evil.
If it is wrong and a hate crime for whites to beat up on blacks, it is just as wrong for blacks to beat up on whites.
Jackson, the liberal media, the civil rights punks, would be a bit more believable if they applied their "rules" to all evenly. Their silence in this matter shows their ulterior motives and their silence implies an acceptance of this behaviour, which will embolden others to do the same.
I live in northern LA County and this is the first I have heard/read about the incident. This is appalling. Sadly, I am not surprised that it hasn't gotten coverage, even up here.
How come gloria allred isn't sueing the mob??
End of story- they were black- won't see the day of light in the media- period! The press is too focussed on looking out for white-crimes like freedom of speech. I'm surprised this report didn't blame the girl for inciting the violence against her by being in a black neighborhood. http://sacredscoop.com
We live only 8-miles away from this "incident" and this is the first I 've heard of it.
There is something a little odd about college aged kids going out trick or treating...even in a very white upper class neighborhood(which Bixby Knolls is).
It's a shame that these attackers will apparently get away with what very likely could have been murder...with the help of the activist sharpies...dragging up images of Rodney King and such.
..it's shameful.
