OPINION: No religion needs special preference at an airport or on an airplane. If a religious group or any group for that matter does feel the need for continued special preferences; that group should start their own airline.
If I recall correctly, a certain airline now has (or plans to have) planes dedicated to smokers. That is good for smokers. It's good for business and keeps the smoking out of smoke free airports/airlines.

OPINION: No religion needs special preference at an airport or on an airplane.Actually, I remember many years ago when the religious sect of Indian Sikhs sued and demanded the right to carry a ceremonial dagger aboard any aircraft as a necessary part to the lawful practice of their religion because it was symbolic in nature. I don't recall that they were given any relief by US airlines, but I do remember the recently "Late" Jeff Cooper immediately declaring he was forming his own church and naming it Our Lady of Colt & The Resurrected 45 and that all holders of CCW permits were to be considered ordained priests thereof and thus be allowed similar injunctive relief for air travel. I'd have joined that cult on the spot!
