Kerry needs to learn that every one of his ruminating thoughts doesn't need a voice!

They are still calling his statement a joke, even though Kerry was the only one who saw any humor in it. IMO Kerry was a dead duck long before he opened his mouth, about our military, however it seems to be the icing on the cake.
Now if only the voters of Massachusetts would wake up.

"The joke stopped that momentum in its track," said Jerry Crawford, a Des Moines attorney who was chairman of Kerry's Iowa campaign in 2004. "I don't think it was fair the way it was used against him, but it's nevertheless the reality. ***********
Unfair? It was downright hurtful!
On the other hand, maybe this is just another botched joke.

It's hilarious how he keeps calling attention to it. If he'd keep his mouth shut, it would go away on its own.

Kerry is a reprehensible being. Only in the limelight due to John Heinz money. Why oh why didn't he have a pre-nup with that beast from Mozambique? Kerry held back $15 million in his 2004 race and lost by a hair. Veterans hate him (whether he knows it or not). He should just shut up, but media loves his nuancing.

"Kerry needs to learn that every one of his ruminating thoughts doesn't need a voice!" Kerry was not making a joke. He was serious and he considered his message to be important.
It is nothing to the point that he has misjudged the electors.
Kerry is locked into the VietNam struggle as his raison d'etre.

I wouldn't hold my breath on this one. This is the same state that continuously elects Teddy and Barney Fwank, and also reelected Gerry Studds after the page scandal

It was no joke. It was what he wanted to say. When the feathers hit the fan he and his advisors got together and decided that they could get their communist rears out of trouble by claiming that it was a botched joke. Of course the leftist media got their cue and repeated the lie.
