While the military "quagmire" in Iraq was said to tip the scales of power in the U.S. midterm elections, most Americans have no idea more of their fellow citizens – men, women and children – were murdered this year by illegal aliens than the combined death toll of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since those military campaigns began.

This sounds like an excellent sound bite for Tom Tancredo.
It's something he needs to point out repeatedly.
I've read this in several places. It could be a very effective talking point for border enforcement...however, it needs to be carefully documented, with no spin or exaggeration. I'm not sure of that part yet.

These figures, which are based in fact, show that our country is being invaded by criminals and criminal organizations. The number of known deaths per year attributed to illegal aliens, 9,125, dwarfs the entire military death total of the WOT. Yet, we hear no outcry from elected officials whose FIRST PRIORITY according to the Constitution is protection of the borders and the LEGAL citizens.
Most, if not all, politicians should resign, quit, for job incompetance.

In other words, the joker took the total number of murders in the US (about 16,000 plus annually), and then multiplied that number by the guesstimate that illegals make up 11% to 15% of the population. How is that for rigorous statistical technique?
I don't know if Farah, and King, and the folks to which he links to in this article, are bigots or not. All I know is that they act like it.

Actually it'll get lower, because the murderers will then be legal citizens and therefore can't be included in the stats. They'll have to let in a whole new crop of illegals. ....only to give them amensty the next go-around.
Amnesty makes absolutely no sense for the GOP. First of all, the vast majority of the tens of millions of new citizens (and their extended families that'll undoubtedly follow them here) will be voting Donkey, and to believe otherwise is delusional in the extreme. Secondly, the new citizens will be signing up for the Democrat-controlled unions en masse, strengthening them considerably. From the perspective of the GOP there isn't one good reason to support amensty, yet the Bush admin blindly forges ahead.
Well, surely, if AMericans aren't committing enough, we need to bring in more murderers, rapists and drunk drivers!
BTW, I don't see a lot of Asians on the Most Wanted Lists of major American cities. It isn't JUST about the illegal nature of the immigration and its vast scale (unassimilable numbers and conflicted loyalties so close to the homeland) but the Third World and dysfunctional culture of those immigrants.
IOW, a million illegal Chinese is better than having a million illegal Central Americans.
