It seems that at least one of the "Blue Dogs" has rabies. Its gonna be a roller coaster over the next two years.

Except this goof will be with us for SIX years. :(

I think Webb is most comfortable when writing about encounters between men and young boys.

Great line from George Will in this piece:
Webb's more gross offense was calculated rudeness toward another human being -- one who, disregarding many hard things Webb had said about him during the campaign, asked a civil and caring question, as one parent to another.
Bingo.
Webb proved himself, as Democrats always do, to be an ass.

Just damn. How could my state elect this guy?

THAT WAS certainly swift. Washington has a way of quickly acculturating people, especially those who are most susceptible to derangement by the derivative dignity of office. But Jim Webb, Democratic senator-elect from Virginia, has become a pompous poseur and an abuser of the English language before actually becoming a senatorWelcome to the erudite worldof George Will

I would do Senator Webb a favor and get his boy out of Iraq. How does the next two years in the Antartica guarding the latrine sound? But then I am vindictive.
Paybacks are hell.

"Webb told the Post"
Oh, so Webb wanted to make sure this story got published. Part of his tough guy persona, no doubt. Well, he's now a hero to the nutjobs. Probably what he wanted.

webb is now the face and voice of Virginia. To those that did not vote or voted dim... ENJOY IT!

Webb will be revealed to have problems.
His novels suggest something is wrong with the man. His boy is probably safer in Iraq.

I Don't want to hear any whining whatsoever about someone changing their stripes after the election. Elect a democrat, and in most cases you won't find what you were looking for. Frankly, I can't even imagine democrats wanting what their elected officials have in store for them. Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Jim Webb: Born Idiot.
Too bad we Virginians are stuck with this moron for the next six years. At least it might be an entertaining (if somewhat embarassing) ride, if he doesn't do too much damage.
