The President and First Lady arrived back at the White House on Saturday after spending the Thanksgiving Holiday at Camp David.

On Saturday Vice President Dick Cheney visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.

The Presidents daughters attended a soccer match in Argentina on Sunday.

Today the President departed for the NATO Conference in Latvia he will make a visit to Estonia enroute.

The First Lady received the annual White House Christmas Tree today.

Today the Vice President met with Italian Vice Premier and Culture Minister Francesco Rutelli at the White House.

I need some sanity after BEING on the threads today!

Although the one about the Bush twins' being kicked out of Argentina (false ABC story, of course) was rather amusing. :)

I do, too. It is unfortunate that we have to worry about terrorists, but this just gave them the heads-up, and that makes me very uneasy!

I thought the Christmas tree was coming from Washington state this year but caption says Pennsylvania.

Laura's shawl -- wow! I love it! Superb color and very dramatic the way she's wearing it. Wonder if it was a recent gift.
