The President and First Lady arrived back at the White House on Saturday after spending the Thanksgiving Holiday at Camp David.
On Saturday Vice President Dick Cheney visited Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.
The Presidents daughters attended a soccer match in Argentina on Sunday.
Today the President departed for the NATO Conference in Latvia he will make a visit to Estonia enroute.
The First Lady received the annual White House Christmas Tree today.
Today the Vice President met with Italian Vice Premier and Culture Minister Francesco Rutelli at the White House.

Yes, but I love mongrels. Our family has had several wonderful long time mongrel pets (probably descended on both sides from high quality pure bred dogs). We had one pure bred, a Scottish Terrier that looked just like Barney.

MEDICAL UPDATE:
According to the surgeon, my son's surgery today went PERFECTLY! . . . He's feeling no pain (it's amazing what a little Vicodin can do) and has already regained his appetite . . . We'll get more information at his post-op follow-up on Wednesday!
Mom (and Dad) are more than 'abit tired -- we're off to bed for some light reading and an early 'lights out'!
