I think it should be a crime to slander our military
Rangel is the poster model for the 1960 Liberal Politician, black, white or whatever skin color or race.
Rangel lies, and the mediots lay down in his bed of lies to support his hatred of a strong America.

I went over to DU and there was no mention of The Chuckster Huckster - high school drop out.

Rangle would no doubt feign surprise if someone informed him of the number of Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan with degrees or advanced degrees.
As someone who has spent time walking around Kabul with an M-16 over my shoulder and a doctorate degree hanging on my "I Love Me" wall back home, I would like to tell Rangle to spend more time focusing on his comb-over and less time bashing the troops.
I like it that this Commander is from Massachusetts. One of these days, that place is going to turn around, but probably not until after Kennedy dies and maybe Kerry, too.

I don't like Charles Rangel, but I don't like the fact when my uncle (bronze star) passed away recently, no one from the Legion or VFW offered any military service at his funeral. He was not one to go to the club to buy cheap beer or play all the tickets that are available all day long. THAT is not what these organisations are supposed to be. I know better now.
I'd like just five minutes with this phony American in front of the cameras in a live debate.
"I just read the rest of this buffoon's comments regarding our brave men and women fighting for our freedoms and liberties. How can ignoramuses like this get elected to high office? Does he really believe he knows the hearts and minds of those willing to die to defend this nation? I'd like to engage this buffoon in a face to face debate on national T.V."
I would pay to see that debate!
Out here just north of Pelosi Fairy land, very vocal libs tried to convince voters in the 2004 election that GW was ready to bring the draft back.
My answer to them was BS! All of the commotion re the draft was coming from Charlie Rangel, and they were trying to spin his bs to scare voters.
My final comments was that our military didn't want most of the sons and daughters of the liberals. The spawn of drug addicts didn't do well in the military. Three of these liars still will not speak to me because of my comments and silencing them in discussions.

Funny, but when I made a comment at work that Liberals have no values, I experienced a similar silence from several coworkers. They are now avoiding me and/or discussions about politics with me. People like that tend to slink away when you challenge their liberal beliefs where they have no facts to back up their "feelings".
Oh, and I too live in CA, though in Northern CA where my Congressman is Republican. Pelosi is a blight on the CA landscape.
The families of every serving military member, and especially those who have lost members in this war, should be personally appalled and offended at his comment. Sure, Pat Tillman had no career at all.
