I know you are dismayed and disheartened at the results of last week's election. You're worried that the country is heading toward a very bad place you don't want it to go. Your 12-year Republican Revolution has ended with so much yet to do, so many promises left unfulfilled. You are in a funk, and I understand. Well, cheer up, my friends! Do not despair. I have good news for you. I, and the millions of others who are now in charge with our Democratic Congress, have a pledge we would like to make to you, a list of promises that we offer you because we value you as our fellow Americans. You deserve to know what we plan to do with our newfound power -- and, to be specific, what we will do to you and for you. Thus, here is our Liberal's Pledge to Disheartened Conservatives: Dear Conservatives and Republicans, I, and my fellow signatories, hereby make these promises to you: 1. We will always respect you for your conservative beliefs. We will never, ever, call you "unpatriotic" simply because you disagree with us. In fact, we encourage you to dissent and disagree with us. 2. We will let you marry whomever you want, even when some of us consider your behavior to be "different" or "immoral." Who you marry is none of our business. Love and be in love -- it's a wonderful gift. 3. We will not spend your grandchildren's money on our personal whims or to enrich our friends. It's your checkbook, too, and we will balance it for you. 4. When we soon bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq, we will bring your sons and daughters home, too. They deserve to live. 3 Neither Democrats nor Children understand this I know, but our deficit is NOT at a critical point and it is NOT the highest it has ever been no matter how many times the New York Times says it is. The idea of the party that invented deficit spending (Keynes/Roosevelt), telling us you want to balance “our” checkbooks is laughable. Keep your hands off our checkbook and keep your hands out of our pockets. Besides the fact that we don’t know where your hands have been, it makes no fiscal sense. 4. When we soon bring our sons and daughters home from Iraq, we will bring your sons and daughters home, too. They deserve to live. We promise never to send your kids off to war based on either a mistake or a lie.
4 Whether you bed wetters want to accept it or not, we are in a war. Our war fighters have done an awesome job of keeping us safe. We have found WMDs , even if you don’t want to admit that. At least five hundred “old” gas bombs were found ( those were the ones the very inefficient Iraqi Air Force forgot to ship to Syria). This might not penetrate your foggy mind either, but we have been killing thousands of terrorists for the last three years, not in Iowa or Illinois, but in Iraq. The grown ups in our country ( you remember them, the ones who have kept this nation free from attack for the past five years while fighting the terrorists, people like you and the New York Times.) won’t let you get control of our safety. Finally, it does not seem to occur to you, but bring the troops home means bring the war home with them. Think about that between tokes. 5. When we make America the last Western democracy to have universal health coverage, and all Americans are able to get help when they fall ill, we promise that you, too, will be able to see a doctor, regardless of your ability to pay. And when stem cell research delivers treatments and cures for diseases that affect you and your loved ones, we'll make sure those advances are available to you and your family, too.
5 NO ONE can find a single case of someone being turned away from a hospital or health care facility because of an inability to pay. The “40 million uninsured” is largely made up of twenty and thirty somethings, and illegal aliens who are choking our health care system to death. 6. Even though you have opposed environmental regulation, when we clean up our air and water, we, the Democratic majority, will let you, too, breathe the cleaner air and drink the purer water.
6 Show me a city that has polluted and dangerous air and I’ll show you a city run by Democrats. As for water, in New York City the Hudson River now so clear that it is possible to eat crabs caught off the midtown piers. You don’t want to admit this either, but our water IS cleaner now than it was when Democrats ran the country. 7. Should a mass murderer ever kill 3,000 people on our soil, we will devote every single resource to tracking him down and bringing him to justice. Immediately. We will protect you.
7 This is merely a breathtaking lie. You and people like you have done everything possible to cripple efforts to hunt down and capture terrorist. You want to give terrorists ACLU lawyers so they can recruit in our streets with show trails. “Bring terrorists to immediate justice”? You can’t name a single instance where any “blame America first liberal” has been even minimally helpful in this, our most trying time in history.
8. We will never stick our nose in your bedroom or your womb. What you do there as consenting adults is your business. We will continue to count your age from the moment you were born, not the moment you were conceived.
8 The sacred alter of liberalism is science, except when you don’t like what science has to say. Science now tells us even a 12 week old baby can survive outside the womb if people you are stopped from killing him/her. Fortunately Americans are way to smart and too compassionate to let you set up the type of murder centers you want. We have heard your arguments for murdering people who are inconvenient and rejected them. Only a smug arrogant jerk like you would believe that you now have the power to suck the brains out of the heads of innocent babies. Sorry bloody hands, but not in our country. 9. We will not take away your hunting guns. If you need an automatic weapon or a handgun to kill a bird or a deer, then you really aren't much of a hunter and you should, perhaps, pick up another sport. We will make our streets and schools as free as we can from these weapons and we will protect your children just as we would protect ours.
9 Apparently are actually so arrogant so to believe that winning a few seats in Congress will allow you and the ACLU to promise “not to take away our guns”. I know you don’t like to hear things like this, but, while the constitution really doesn’t say you can smash the brains out of the head of an inconvenient baby, it actually DOES say we can carry a gun without your permission. It over it. 10. When we raise the minimum wage, we will pay you -- and your employees -- that new wage, too. When women are finally paid what men make, we will pay conservative women that wage, too.
10 First off dumbbell, you don’t pay anyone. If socialists like you understood anything about economics you would know those who have employees don’t get paid wages, minimum or not. Moreover, the minimum wage is merely a way for you to funnel money into the pockets of your union masters ( in your case this statement does not hold since you are publicly pro union but privately very anti union ). Women doing the same job make the same pay in all but a handful of situations. If you can help accelerate closing the remaining gap fine. After all Democrats do excel at solving yesterday’s problems. 11. We will respect your religious beliefs, even when you don't put those beliefs into practice. In fact, we will actively seek to promote your most radical religious beliefs ("Blessed are the poor," "Blessed are the peacemakers," "Love your enemies," "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God," and "Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."). We will let people in other countries know that God doesn't just bless America, he blesses everyone. We will discourage religious intolerance and fanaticism -- starting with the fanaticism here at home, thus setting a good example for the rest of the world.
11 I notice you can quote some of the Bible but not the parts about men laying with men or not killing innocent babies. After many years of studying people like you I am still amazed that you believe that religion in America is something someone like you can arrange tolerance for and acceptance of. By any objective standard, your legal team, the ACLU, has attacked and harassed organized western religions since its inception. To this day we are fighting to allow Christian symbolism in our public places while we are forced to watch our children “celebrate” Kaanza and Ramadan in your government run schools. 12. We will not tolerate politicians who are corrupt and who are bought and paid for by the rich. We will go after any elected leader who puts him or herself ahead of the people. And we promise you we will go after the corrupt politicians on our side FIRST. If we fail to do this, we need you to call us on it. Simply because we are in power does not give us the right to turn our heads the other way when our party goes astray. Please perform this important duty as the loyal opposition.
12 Do the names Alan Mollohan, William Jefferson, Harry Reid mean anything to you? How about the rosters of most Democrat controlled city councils? Do they mean anything to you? Does the name Alan Hevesi strick a familiar chord? We vote out perverts like Mark Foley, you celebrate perverts like Jerry Studds. You can’t name a Republican in the past twelve years who has not either resigned or been voted out upon the revelation of corrupt conduct. Naming all the Democrats in that situation would take another page and a half.

I find it interesting how the 2 different political camps deal with election losses. With Republicans, its looking at what went wrong, acknowledging it, debating the issues among the various conservative camps, etc. With Dhimmicrats (as the vile Micheal Moore shows), they seeth, whine, whimper, come up with kooky conspiracy theories. As long as the insane wing of the Dems is given a platform, the GOP still has an opportunity to win in the next election cycle. The GOP may be stupid, but the Dems are insane.

I do not want to live in 'Michael Moore's' country. I'd prefer a nation that promote individual liberty and economic freedom. I am strong enough and determined enough to provide for myself. Operating my own business has taught me to 'husband' my resource through 'feast and famine' and I do not and have never been dependent on the government. If some disaster befalls me I will not ask the government to 'take' from others to benefit me. I know how to start over from scratch. Thank you very much.

Pay Attention!
The election is OVER - the GOP lost big.
The time for platitudes and cheerleading is also OVER.
Now that there is NOTHING that can be done to salvage the most pathetic political campaign in GOP history, it is time to FIX problems, and not wish them away.
The fact is the GOP turnout was low. Care to know why? Because the GOP abandoned the grassroots base, NOT the other way around.
Stop blaming the victims, the true Conservatives, who volunteered their time, energy and ideas to prop up these imbeciles through 2000, 2002, and 2004, and still voted for them again while they retched in disgust at the betrayal of their fundamental principles and values.
Fix the GOP candidates and leadership, not the grassroots voters, and the problem is solved.
