Like, for example, the State Treasurer in Colorado who voluntarily resigned his position so he put on his uniform again and help run the Iraqi elections. Poor guy had bupkus for a career and so he had to go to Iraq. It must be going around in Colorado. A guy I know from Texas spent 10 years in the Marines and got out a couple of years ago. Rick H. got a job as an assistant DA in Ft. Collins but when he found out his old unit was headed for Iraq he took a leave of absence and re-uped.
BTW his mom is a city council woman here and his dad is worth 50 million +.

Rangel has no sense of when to shut up. Amazing. It's a democrat trait. Shrillery, Screamin' Dean, "Servicemen Are Losers" Kerry, The Swimmer, Stainman, Abscam Reid, the list includes the Two Reverends.

Rangel is living proof of the invalidity of his own point.
If he could be any good at anything, he wouldn't be in government.

In my view these fools are one half notch above actors in intelligence.Well this actor did okay for America.
There is a new aircraft carrier named after him too.

Many blacks can't have a decent career because they don't get any free training from the military.
To: Jay777
decent career Yeah, Wrangle, and Professional Politician Socialist Demagogue is a decent career. There's more money in it, for sure. And you get a lot more time in front of the camera.

Could Charlie survive a career outside the "Parliament of Whores"?
To: popdonnelly
We need a selective draft to achieve Charles goal. We need to have a special draft for offspring(kids and grandkids of federal officials, Kids attending Ivy League and Higly Selective private schools, Kids of registered lobbyists..etc. That would probably solve the labor shortage in Canada.

I was wondering if someone would post about his mis-speaking on Fox News Sunday. I thought it was hilarious!

Please pass that information along to Patton, MacArthur, Marshall, Nimitz, Halsey, etc.. They wasted their time fighting for America and being in the service.

Sorry they got to your post, but I got to see it before they took it away. ; )
Let these idiots keep spouting their ignorance. Hopefully that will wake up the clowns that vote for these people to see what mental midgets they really are.
BTW... mine made it through. (Thought for sure that would be axed. #11.)

This is the house servant who accused our military of murdering Saddam's "kids," Uday and Qusay.

What he meant to say: If George W. Bush had an option of having a decent career or of becoming the President of the United Sates, you can bet your life that he would not be the President of the United States. Haw haw...
Just another botched funny!

I thought the same thing today when I saw him today on Fox News Sunday along with John Dingell (who looks like death warmed over) and Barney Frank (I have no words at all to describe him). If these three are some of the best that the Dems have to offer, what were the people thinking of who voted to put them in power? For whatever reason, because they were trying to teach the Republicans a lesson or because they were fooled by the lies of the MSM and the "stealth" candidates the Dems ran in several races, those truly uninformed voters have created a monumental mess! Even after Chris Wallace patiently showed him the actual statistics, Charlie keep insisting that he was right that no one would actually choose to join the military.

I've said it before: Suddenly Charlie Rangel is a Congressman, not just a guest on Hannity and Colmes.

I'd concur and say Charlie the Chimp, but that would be an insult to chimpanzees.
