Chicago Ponders"Are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
"I think so, Chicago Brain, but if they all did this then there wouldn't be any of them left to make fun of!"

...Jennifer Diaz, a 28-year-old graduate student who never met him but has been researching his life. Now, she is organizing protests and vigils in his name. "I'm not going to sit by and I can't sit by and let this go unheard."

We support you, Jennifer. Why don't you follow in his footsteps, honey? And advise your America-hating friends to do the same.

I doubt this poor, demented fool was out protesting when Hussein was slaughtering his own countrymen or using wmds on the Kurds.

Sure... someone who kills himself is worthy of our time and attention? Not someone who couldn't wait for the election results. Good riddance. And for the record, I'm not depressed just because the GOP lost this month.

I doubt if this guy paid taxes anyway.

The Vietnam War template continues its attraction. No doubt he saw himself in the tradition of the Buddhist monks who set themselves on fire to protest against the policies of Ngo Dinh Diem, or the Czech who killed himself to protest the Soviet invasion. Or maybe not the latter.
I wonder if the press will track down Madame Nhu and ask her for a comment.

Attention Cindy Sheehan: This is a great way to get back into the news!

From the link you provided:
He owned and maintained several web-sites: www.savagesound.com, www.unwinnablewar.net, www.killthepresident.net, www.warwhores.us.
Is this the kind of guy for whom the phrase "I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire" was coined?

What a bizarre end to a bizarre life. I feel sorry for his son...saddled with a self-absorbed, self-important, delusional nutcase for a dad. What kind of egomaniacal maroon scripts his own death and actually believes it will make one bit of difference in the way the WOT is conducted? Fruitylicious.

yawn...
Just ate a great meal of fried chicken sprinkled with red hot sauce, and a Romaine lettuce salad, with yellow tomatoes, onions, celery, and crushed tortilla chips, topped with a wine vinegar dressing. Enjoyed a side dish of pepper jack cheese and crackers, followed by a dessert of cranberry relish. I'm also enjoying an all Christmas music radio channel as I partake of a glass of crisp white wine and occasionally I post a thought or two to Free Republic.
yawn...
What did some guy do in Chicago?
yawn...
Looking for some dental floss at the moment...

I think I'll get some double chocolate ice cream later tonight...

You know, it's really relaxing here at Free Republic...

I wonder if he used oil. Maybe he didn't buy groceries because the truck that brought them there used gas and oil. Maybe walked everywhere. Saddam made money selling oil and gas while he caused the death of 1.3 million innocents. I wonder if the barbeque man cared about them. It is terrorists who are killing the innocents still.
