I am requesting FReeper friends to pray for me as I undergo cancer surgery on Tuesday, 11-28-06. In August during a colonoscopy a cancerous blockage was discovered in my colon. It was determined that the cancer was adhering to my bladder and that it had also spread to my liver. I was given a colostomy at that time. I underwent 5 1/2 weeks of chemo and radiation treatment in Sandusky, OH to shrink the tumor.
After that, I was referred to a new set of surgeons in Cleveland and they are now ready to do their thing. Please pray for the skill of my colon, liver and bladder surgeons.

I surely will pray. My mom had bladder cancer, I know a lot about it. Especially how to pray.
We bring before You all of Socratic's needs as he enters surgery. We confess that You want each of us to demonstrate our faith in Your power to heal, and we acknowledge that You are the Great Physician who will guide and direct Socratic's surgery. Be with him every minute and let all that takes place bring glory and honor to You. We are confident that You are using all of this for his good and for Your glory. May Your Name be glorified in Socratic's life as You see him through this trial. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
