Before we retired, my husband raised turkeys.
They are really interesting birds. So smart ..... yet so stupid. LOL
Now most turkey are white but I'm partial to the dark ones.

I was so sad to hear of Marissa's kitty's death but thrilled about the new kitten's name..We have Sassy The Third in the family. The original name was Sassafras but Sassy is how he was always called.

It is my opinion that you never get over it - you just get used to it.They say "Time heals all wounds," and the gut wrenching pain has finally left. But it is hell being alone.
I miss him so very much. We were joined at the hip, that's how close we were.
He was a combat Viet Nam Vet and I am so proud of him!!!
He was called "Maine Rebel" in here.
