Karo is a syrup. Dark can be used for pancakes, waffles, or pecan pies. White is used for candy like peanut brittle or fudge, or also can be used for pecan pies.

When i was a kid, I liked to take while Karo syrup and mix it with peanut butter and eat it on biscuits (not cookies).

Karo is corn syrup. You can find it in the baking aisle of the supermarket.
