It's easy to talk big when you know no attack is imminent.

How about all these "Brave" Iranian terrorists start showing up for war in uniform instead of hiding behind women and children ??????

Sneaky Scum.

...When their commanders encounter a problem, they burst into tears...[Pegging the B.S. meter]

Then proceed to mow down the enemy to the tune of a 15-20-to-one ratio.

The US Forces aren't weak but our politicians that control the war is another story. If the politicians would stop trying to appease at every turn and allow the military to take the kid gloves off we may actually win this War on Terror.

Sort of reminds me of Hitler's contempt for the US military.

["As I pointed out, starting a war with another country or attacking it is currently not part of our plans or strategy. But if . . ."]

Action talks and bullsh*t walks, Haji. But after outnumbering the Iraqis and still getting stomped in your last war, it's prudent to stick with the talking part of it.

He bases the "americans are cowardly" comment on the pictures of soldiers crying after they lose a comrade. Pure propaganda.

All the "bring it on" comments are silly. Iraq, which is much smaller isn't exactly a cakewalk. Iran, in some ways, would be much tougher. If we had to fight them I hope that we wouldn't have our arms tied behind our backs like we do in Iraq.

I wonder how many of the people who shout "bring it on" on these forums have actually served.

No, it's not our military that is "cowardly"; it's our politically correct civilian leadership.

"When their commanders encounter a problem, they burst into tears."

Well based on this comment I guess we can believe every thing this guy says.

The libs, with their vast military expertise, will swallow any tripe this general dishes up.

Why didn't he just say "Boo!"?

"We don't see any motivation among the American forces in Iraq. They are very cowardly. There are even scenes from Iraq in which they are seen crying. When their commanders encounter a problem, they burst into tears. We did not see such spectacles in the eight years of the Iran-Iraq war."

Yeah, okay...so, you slogged on against Iraq for 8 years, neither side making much real headway. I don't suppose it would give you pause, then, that the Americans basically overran Iraq in a week. Hey Yahya, go back and join a sisterhood or something...

A lot of talk from a country thats surrounded on two fronts (3 fronts if you include the seas to the south), and would lose control of the air within a matter of a week.

Face it! We just turned tail on Nov. 7. They don't care what we call it. You know everyone in the middle east is cutting deals because they know by the middle of January those patriotic Democrats will cut off funds to fight the war and the helicopters will be taking of from the rooftops in Iraq. And our name won't be Mudd. And Shock and Awe is a just another comic book. War is not a video game. Cocktail waitresses strutting around in cammie thongs can't fight wars. Were are now a hapless 'virtual tiger'. Decadence is a many splendoured thing.

I'd like to put Safavi into an empty room with a U.S. Marine for about ten minutes and let him find out just how 'cowardly' they really are.

The truth is, this little boil knows his forces would be completely decimated in a one-on-one engagement with the U.S. and the only thing the Iranians would be able to fall back on is good old fashioned guerilla warfare and suicide attacks.
