My beloved aunt had a sudden heart attack and is in intensive care in a California hospital. She seems to be out of the woods but she is in her '70's and her family's history is not good with this. She has had a sister (my mother) and a brother-in-law both killed by hospital care. I want her to get out of that place as soon as possible. She is a gem and will put a good thumbprint on this earth in her remaining years.

"My history with hospitals has not been good". Neither has mine. My brother was in supposedly one of the best heart hospitals in this area last spring for a heart valve replacement. They forgot he was there for two days! No kidding! They finally remembered when he tried to walk out. Another so-called reputable hospital amost killed my father-in-law a few years ago after an emergency appendectomy. Go figure!

They got my mother, my father and now my favorite aunt. They all went in and had successful procedures and died from something caused by the hospital or the procedure OTHER than the what the procedure was aimed at. Actually, I don't know at this point what killed my aunt. All I know is that her procedure was "successfull".

I am so sorry about your loss. Your experience has not helped my attitude about doctors and hospitals one bit. A good friend of ours died three weeks ago today with similar sounding circumstances.
A while back there was a Freeper who said he had been pronounced dead at a hospital from a heart attack.
He said that was 15 years ago and he has not been to a doctor since. He only relies on Vit C now.

I am so sorry for your loss! Prayers for you and your family.
I've actually told my husband in the past that if something happens to me, rush me to our veternarian's clinic.
