I think Michael Richards is the funniest comedian around..I did not see this clip nor do I care to see it..I do want to say this though it is alright for the black comedians to throw racial slurs to the white audience but let a white comedian do it to a black then oh man watch out..I have always loved to watch Michael Richards he is the one that made the show "Seinfeld".And he is the only one on that show that was funny..

The reference to lynching "hanging from a tree" is not funny under any context - there is something seriously wrong with this guy.

Then you can't discuss it intelligently. Richards isn't in trouble for merely using the n-word; what's at issue here is a minutes-long, hate-filled torrent of abuse directed at a specific person.

I've never seen a black comic do anything close to what Richards did, and if it had been Chris Rock or Martin Lawrence on that stage, there would have been an outcry.
