Why shouldn`t he get in the gutter with them? Martin Luther King gave his life to end this kind of crap not to mention many others, yet today you have sh*tbags like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Russell Simmons, Pee-Diddy, Suge Knight all making millions pissing on all that, profiting and celebrating the racism and oppression of the black race, and it is all accepted because they are all black.

Maybe it takes someone who is white like this to remind people what those words mean, what the hell these pukebags are doing. Calling a black man a "n****r" is not cool. Calling black women "hos" or "bitches" is not cool. Anyone who thinks so, let them be reminded how it feels when a white man says it.

All the racism against blacks today comes directly more than anything from those pukes I mentioned above and the crap they promote every single day. The more their ugliness is exposed for what it is, the better. And let`s not forget, all of them are democrats, liberals.

And let`s also not forget which the media will never speak of, the history of blacks in the Republican party. How these black men on this timeline below got to these positions solely through the Republican party, but you`ll never hear about that will you?

Timeline of Black Republican History

Alonzo J. Ransier is elected Lieutenant Governor of South Carolina before being elected to the U.S. Congress in '72

1871 Robert B. Elliot chairs South Carolina delegation to the Republican National Convention in Philadelphia

1872 John R. Lynch is elected Speaker of the Mississippi House of Representatives; he will be elected to US Congress in 73

1875 Blanche K. Bruce of Mississippi becomes the first African-American elected to a full term in US Senate

UPDATE: I'm told arrangements were made by none other than Jerry Seinfeld himself for Michael Richards to go on Letterman by remote satellite feed tonight. "Kramer" made a major apology on Dave's Late Show which had Seinfeld scheduled as a guest already. Richard's appearance during Seinfeld's interview was treated as a surprise. Kramer made a complete mea culpa, and sources at the taping told me that both Letterman and Seinfeld seemed to accept what he was saying as genuine remorse. Mostly, Richards looked embarrassed. I'm told the Hollywood people around him jumped into action "to avoid a Mel Gibson delay" whereby that apology was not made in the same news cycle or complete enough.

In my opinion, the real news behind Seinfeld's Michael Richards spewing "n"-word racial epithets after being heckled during his Friday night stand-up routine at the Laugh Factory (see video here) is this: many of today's comedy clubs have become a cesspool of hatred. Inside them, racism, ethnic prejudice, homophobia and sexism all masquerade as humor. Anyone who's been to the clubs and heard the acts knows this to be true. Yet, in most cases, the audiences or the club owners/managers rarely react badly. (And not just in the clubs: MTV's Yo Momma celebrates jokes about how "yo Momma" is so fat, so stupid, so poor, so ugly, so nasty, so lazy, and whatever other disgusting stuff its contestants can think up.) I'm not saying humor in the clubs should be as sanitized as the stand-up pablum on Leno or Letterman or Kimmel. Though it's a fact that, because of the ubiquitousness of profanity-peppered acts with distasteful subject matter, some clubs outside LA and NY are rating their shows G, PG, and R as a marketing tool. (There's also Christian comedy, but let's not go there.) Still, in the top clubs, an atmosphere exists where anything goes, so no one should feign surprise that those comedians, much less a network character actor like Richards, could cross the line between what's acceptable and offensive. Jerry Seinfeld has announced he's "sick over this." When it comes to the comedy clubs, too many of them are just sick, period. Heal thyself.

The heckler calls him a cracker and a white boy.

It's all nasty; but why does the one who starts it (the heckler) get to set the boundaries of "going too far"?

I've never been a fan of the Seinfeld guy--or the show--but this seems to be a confrontation between two nasty racist fellows.

Thanks for that update, JDM. I think you're theory is on target too.

On a lighter note, evidence that Kramer understands racial harmony.

KRAMER: (on phone) A turkey sandwich. A side of slaw, … you want white meat or dark?

BETTE: White meat.

KRAMER: Yeah, white meat. And if I see one piece of dark meat on there. It's your ass buster.

BETTE: Get me one of those Black and White cookies.

KRAMER: yeah, all right, yeah…. (hangs up) They don't have any. But don't worry I'm going to get you one somewhere.

BETTE: Good. Because if I don't get a Black and White cookie I'm not going to be very pleasant to be around.

KRAMER: Now that's impossible.

After eating a black and white cookie (peace!)...

Jerry: My stomach doesn't feels so good. It's like Louis Farrakhan and David Duke down there.

Lol.

Obviously, Jerry recognized how bad this was, and he cares enough about Richards that he is working hard to repair the damage. It will be interesting to see what Richards has to say by way of explanation.

I once witnessed Sam Kinison deal with a heckler. One of the single most brutal show biz routines I've ever seen.

Kinison was an absolute genius, though.

I do not believe anything the media says or shows when it is shown in such a small edited video clip. Show me the entire video of this and let me hear this heckler making unracist cat calls and then Richards going into this rant, and I will call Richards a racist to his face. But I will not and nobody should call him a racist until this video is shown in its entirety.

************

I hear what you're saying, and you have a point. If it is true that Richards was insulted in that way, it would have been wise of him to have referenced it in his response. Without that, and without any confirmation in the way of video or witness corroboration, it is difficult to do other than comment.

He was a genius, but woe to the audience member who heckled. He'd come back not with the quick put-down, but twenty minutes of material that was so brutal, so obscene and so degrading that it wasn't like anything else in show business.

I for one would love to hear Jay Leno's reaction to that unfortunate performance. Leno--who has continued to do stand-up comedy even after taking his current Tonight Show gig--would be stunned at how Richards totally lost control of that stand-up comedy performance.

*************

I have to agree with you. I saw Leno perform at the Lowell Auditorium way back when, before he was even close to aspiring to hosting the Tonight Show. He was completely clean and as hard as it may be to believe, more entertaining than he is today.
