GOD bless you and everyone involved. I support our troops and their mission. I vowed to support them in a long War lasting beyond President Bush's second term. I willingly gave my oath at the beginning and do so again now.
I also support organizations that actively support our troops and their families. I am not CNN or Gallup, but I am an American who loves his Nation and those that defend her. May GOD help us to win this WAR on both fronts... overseas and domestic!
Thank you and everyone with you for your brave act of Patriotism!

The troops we visited sent a message home. They wanted the US to know that they want to complete their mission.
They have not asked to be rescued or brought home by the Dems.
They asked that CNN not subscribe to any more snuff films of soldiers being targeted for the benifit of news ratings.
They asked that CNN not report where they are going before they get there.

Thank you for the report, and your service! I am behind our troops 100%. Trust me I want our troops to finish the mission. It just seems like the media along with their bed buddies the Democrats are hell bent on making sure we lose in Iraq. Moreover, I believe it is giving the bad guys hope. We all know what the stakes are if we leave Iraq. So how do we resolve this? Here are the options the way I see it.
1) President Bush will need to report to the nation about the war. Perhaps some type of "fireside chat" by weekly. You know like the types we use to get in WWII. President Bush needs to wage an information war in order to keep the support at home. What he has been doing is obviously not enough, and strategy needs to change.
2) Perhaps be less politically correct when it comes to this war. For instance, quit going to the UN anytime we need to do something. That time has already past, and we are at war now. Here are some more examples,
A) When our troops get hit we need to hit back hard. I was watching the History channel recently. Germany had the same sort of problem right after their fall. We had 3 or 4 of our guys that were killed in that town. Our troops surrounded the city, and shelled it all night. After that incident a US troop never died in that town again.
B) If we catch a bad guy not in uniform. After we get the intelligence. Then we need to send them to the firing squad instead of Gitmo. We did this after WWII in Germany
C) Seal the boarders. Tell Syria and Iran that we catch anyone from their country trying to kill our troops. That will be considered a declaration of war against us, and that we will retaliate on their countries.
This is just a few suggestions, but I think it could work. Just my two cents.
Thanks again for the report!

Yes! I agree with everything you say. Why are you not in office? Our troops are eating MRE's while the terriorists are eating gourmet at GITMO. What is going on here?

Thank you for making the trip.
I hope to hear more about it when you can put more of your thoughts to keyboard.
Please keep us posted if another trip is in the making. Some of us would love to go, myself included.
If nothing else, maybe re-invent a USO tour

A battery of Blue Star families would need to be included for me to qualify.
And my only talent for a USO tour would be talking ; ) bringing a taste of home and perhaps some inspiration. Alas, cheering football teams ruined my singing voice : )

Thank you so much for everything you have done for this nation. I personally have been so depressed and disheartened by the election and the rhetoric coming out of Washington in recent weeks, but reading your post about your trip to Iraq has really filled me with a renewed sense of hope.
Debbie, thank you again for the great sacrifices you have made and continue to make on behalf of our country. If every American were like Debbie Argel, this nation would ALWAYS remain a shining beacon of light in an otherwise dark, dark world.
